"In my opinion, Marc struggles with keeping his word and timelines. He says he is one of the more expensive landscape contractors in the area. With that, one would expect a certain degree of professionalism as it relates to keeping his word and to delivering on timelines. With us, we wanted to work with him so we waited for him. He committed to our project verbally and committed to our agreed upon timeframes. We even modified our project scope to accommodate him. He didn’t keep his commitments. That threw our entire project off while he strung us along with verbal promises. He then tried to appease our serious upset, when he said he allowed other clients to grow their projects to much larger than were originally contracted (while making us wait potentially months), by referring us to other contractors who behaved similarly with lots of delays. When we asked Marc to help us with the contractor he recommended, he behaved really poorly, making the situation worse. The contractor he recommended behaved just like him. Not good. Now we are supposed to have a container pool installed in 3 months but that’s all been jeopardized by Marc, his referrals and his unwillingness to do things the way a high end contractor would. The lack of personal accountability makes Marc a hard pass in our minds."
