BELFOR Property Restoration

"Terrible. I am 1 month into BELFOR fixing my basement after a flood. 1 month in and the drywall has not been finished. Edit. The drywall repairs they did in the bathroom is all pulling back. I can still see the flood cuts. Seriously the worst company I have ever encountered."

"This person was stopped in the fast lane due to bad traffic. They cut me off in the commuter lane which was not stopped and almost cause a multiple car crash. This was unsafe for multiple people and needs to be addressed with your driver. Not a great look for the company."

"Rene and Curt were great to work with during my home repair process. They were very communicative throughout the whole process, which helped greatly whenever there were delays, which were not Rene or Curt’s fault. High quality work and would definitely work with them again the future."

"I had a very bad experience with this company this past summer after experiencing a leak in the basement of a rental property. To be fair, they did respond to the situation quickly and provided mitigation. They then tore apart most of the room to find the cause of the leak. They assured me the mitigation, diagnostics, and rebuild would all be covered by my property insurance. Unfortunately for me they billed me in such a way that my property insurance covered almost none of the claim- I paid almost $5,000 out of pocket and had only $68 reimbursed. They also offered to do the repairs once I had paid to fix the leak. This repair was some of the worst quality home repair that I've ever seen. Carpet not stapled to floor, baseboards with cracks, sloppy paint job across light sockets/fixtures with only one coat on walls, mud/drywall with major defects. See attached photos. Lastly, they entered the property and began construction without forewarning on a day/time that I was showing it for sale after I explicitly said not to do so and their workers left food products in an empty trash can that rotted and caused a bad smell in a home I was trying to sell. DO NOT RECOMMEND."

"We bought our home in March and in that same month we had a water leak through our drain pipe that went down to our basement. We called our home owners insurance and they sent Belfor out immediately to get them started. John and Fernando arrived and started working on everything and did such a great job with communication and getting everything in order and keeping us as comfortable as possible while we were still in the home with all the equipment. After mitigation was done we mostly worked with some employees who no longer work for the company but did a wonderful job at customer service and keeping us updated and in the loop of all the things to be fixed from the damage and my constant questions always being answered in a timely manner. Lastly, we were assigned with Kayla for the remaining part of the work to be completed and she has been the most amazing to work with, she is such a gem and someone that the company should be proud to have as an employee. She has dealt with my frustrations with all our new home has given us and has gone above and beyond in customer service. If I were her manager I’d definitely be praising her work ethic and reminding her that she’s an asset to the company. If we ever have anything happen again, Belfor is definitely who I’d want to have here. They pick incredible contractors to fix the damages, my floors, carpets and walls that had damage look better than they did before and I happily would hire each contractor for separate side jobs I’d need as they’re that great!"
