Reviews
"Incredibly responsive. Responsive in docs I needed to submit, responsive if one team member was out of the office, there was another to cover. Upfront about any fees and scheduling. A wonderful experience with the entire Cottonwood Title team (I used the East Parleys Way office)"
"Did a great job. Speedy, and affordable. They have a nice office too, and everyone is sooo nice."
"Cottonwood Title was fantastic to work with. Organized and professional and made my transaction seamless! Thanks!"
"Not a professional experience. The escrow officer here was simply rude and impatient. I went to her office on Monday, we had a rather joyful conversation, everything went well. She said she will have the files of settlement fees ready by Tuesday. Then Wednesday comes I call her and she said she didn't do anything on Tuesday or get the files ready for us. We have already got the funds ready to launch, we were just waiting for Tuesday for the bank to reflect the compiled funds and gave her one day to write that file. Since I never worked with this Title company before, we were iffy and hesitant with our money due to the unfamiliarity. Dinnie was impatient and had an attitude when I tried to ask her questions on how to go through with this process and what how to ensure our funds are safe. She acted as if we should trust Cottonwood Title blindly just because they are a quote and quote credible company. The arrogance was through the roof. First off, I am not from Utah, I work out of state. Second, I've been scammed by an Utahn educational institution before. Fraudulent activity happens here all the time. I was scammed and couldn't get my funds back. It's her job to convince us and gain our trust. We're not FOOLS to simply hand over thousands of dollars just by you acting better than everyone else. Part of your job is SALES, and a SALES person is the one who convinces the client. NOT the other way around. She pretty much turned the tables on us, I was begging for her attention when I called her office and it went straight to her voicemail. She got agitated with me when I asked additional questions and wanted to double check for details. We had to utilize a THIRD PERSON to make our communication fluid. That's how painful it was. I'm hesitant to work with Dinnie again. Her excuse was "I was busy. It's the end of the quarter. " Doesn't matter, then you probably shouldn't take us on. If you made a promise, you representing your company needs to have the basic integrity to follow through. The clients are on board and are waiting, but not only were you working on someone else's case but also you tried to gaslight the client to divert your own mistake. Everything was discussed ahead of time that this week will be our closing. If you can't be professional, at least don't toy with the client's feelings and make them feel small. No one is born to kiss anyone's bum. I've been polite and well-mannered all along, if you lack patience then change your profession."
"I will always try and do business here. They made everything easy and very welcoming. That is important when big financial decisions are involved. Also, they actually seemed genuine. Sometimes people put on a false persona in order to make you feel comfortable, but that can ring out as hollow. Not here, 100% genuine folks."
