"The man that owns this place is phenomenal, hands down. He knows his antiques and had the biggest and best selection in town. His prices are on point and the variety is huge! The chairs hanging from the ceiling is brilliant and adds an atmosphere like no other antique shop in the area. He will negotiate with the best for the best. Great time at Bix. Service was friendly and fun. I'll be back, soon."
"Jim Dupree is a miracle worker. I took a dining table made by my grandfather to him. It looks absolutely amazing. When he got it, it was painted white and the veneer was cracking in a couple of places."
"My husband and I have been using Bix, Jimmy and others for over 30 years. They have always been friendly, curtious and have done a fabulous job restoring our antique furniture. They are worth every penny spent. Jimmy is an artist, with magic fingers and infinite patience. Thank you, Jimmy!!"
"Go to for furniture refinishing. They always do a fantastic job! Took our old wood club chairs and completely re-worked them and we just love them. Now, refinishing our outdoor wrought iron furniture. Cannot wait to get them back for our porch!"
"We had an old chest refinished. They did an amazing job. Unfortunately, we never got a price quote until after the work was done. It cost me $1650 dollars to restore a chest of drawers that is worth much less than that amount. Not sure what happened to common sense, taking care of a customer, or just simple communication. Piece damaged on delivery as a bonus. Be warned. Get a quote up front and an estimate on timeliness of completion (took just over 3 years for mine)..."
