Sayre RV & City Park

"We visited this park for the first time. We stayed in campsite 77. The 50-amp outlet was dead. The park's signage is sparse. The RV dump station is well-marked if you are on the right road, but there are no directional signs to the right road in the campground, and the location is hidden from view from the campsites. There are over a mile of paved walking trail, but no signs to map the trail."

"The city park is also an RV park. So in addition to playgrounds and a ballfield, there are RV parking spots with hookups. I think most of them are reserved but there are some that appear to be "first come first served." I was driving onwards so I did not spend the night here. There is a free RV dumpsite on the main road. Easy to access and with a hose that has flush water. Did I say "free"?"

"We had a great time, it was spacious and good hook ups. I’m only taking a star off because there is a TON of stickers! We didn’t notice as much at night but our dog got a couple in his feet and when we checked our shoes there were a bunch more. In the morning I saw that pretty much everywhere green was full of two different types of pokies! If you are there for golf or stay in the rocks it’s no big deal. They had fun play areas and decent bathrooms with showers."

"This park is great! We've stayed here 2x with our 37' motorhome and towed vehicle. You can come any time. It's self serve. Leave $12 cash or check at station. Electric & water included. Dump station as you're leaving near the miniature golf. Very close to a Flying J with a Denny's in case you need anything. Playground, picnic tables and great views of golf course. Miniature golf and pool for additional charge if they're open. We haven't been able to use those yet. We'll be back! Great stop off I 40 soon after you enter OK from TX."

"An OK city park for $12 a night with water and electric. A newly reworked dump station with a cover concreted in so could not be used. Would have been five stars, but the place seems to have well meaning but poorly preformed maintenance. If this place was properly maintained they could easily double the rate. If I am this way again I will surely stop, well worth it."
