"This is the best shop in Utah! Have been getting my records from 3hive for a few years now! Love the atmosphere and employees, they’re always super helpful and welcoming. Will continue to get my vinyl from here as long as my wallet lets me!"
"I brought my husband here for his birthday last year in December and we have been coming back at least twice a month (we don’t live in the area, ~30 min drive). Their collection is amazing, a little bit of everything. Whoever curated their collection has a wide knowledge of music. The staff is always super welcoming, friendly, nice and helpful. If you can’t find an album or artist, the staff are willing to help without making you feel like a burden. They can also order the record if they don’t have it as long as it’s in stock from their seller. I believe they have a stock room separate from the store that is not accessible to customers, therefore you should always ask even if you have looked. Their records are reasonably priced. You can sell your used records that no longer serve you to them. The one time we did this their offer was fair and they give you an option of store credit or cash. Store credit is always more than the cash value. Since we love 3hive we took the store credit. If you are like us and buy frequently I would suggest you join the crate diggers club. It is a one time fee, but you receive $1 off each record you buy and a special discount on your birthday. We’ve bought over 20 records (new and used) and have not had any issue with any of them, therefore I cannot speak about their return or exchange policy. My only criticism is that I wished they wouldn’t pack their displays with so many records. It can make it difficult to browse because there are no gaps to look through the records. Other than that a great place to add or start your journey into the world of vinyl records."
"Great shop, friendly service where someone immediately asked me if I needed something. Place is well organized. Not a great second hand jazz collection but did have quite a large Japanese section for imports."
"Drove down from Salt Lake to check this place out, it’s a cute store with a good inventory but not very welcoming. Workers walked past us a few times with no greeting or asking if we needed any help. I was about to buy a record but felt that they did not care for our business so I decided against it. Was really hoping this place would be a cool store with a good atmosphere but unfortunately that wasn’t the case."
"I was VERY impressed with their record collection. It was painful trying to narrow down what I would get now vs later (a great problem to have). I also love that you can look at their current inventory online to know what is available or not. I’ve both bought online where they then bring your purchase out to your car once it’s ready and also browsed their selection in store. Both experiences were stellar and I highly recommend this record store to those in Utah!"
