"One of equity customers hit my car in a parking lot. They are trying to get me to use my insurance for the claim. Their client came and got me in the store. Admitted fault. Hit an unoccupied vehicle that was parked 3 rows behind him. What's the problem"

"Had a guy pull out in front of us with equity insurance caused us to hit him our car is a total loss they refuse to pay according to them they said his drivers license were just suspended but I found out my self they were suspended when he bought the insurance they don't check like everyone else so now I'm suing equity and the car lot that sold him the car"

"I had Equity insurance for over 8 years, always paid 6 months ahead not a single claim during that time until 2 months ago. I got into an accident and everything they’ve done since is try to find a way to NOT take responsibility for the property damages. I have since dropped them and went with State Farm insuring both my home & vehicles and saving money in the process! Definitely wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Funny how they never had a problem taking my money all those years and the one time a claim was made they try to find their way out!"

"I would give 0 stars but it won't let me. However, their overall rating says a lot about the kind of company they are. We were hit by someone who has equity and it was his fault....2 months later it is still not resolved. I have been hung up on and refused to be allowed to speak to a supervisor. I need documents for my GAP insurance that they are refusing to cooperate with sending. Next step is the insurance commission and an attorney."
