"Tom was so wonderful trying to find a product for Us! He went above & beyond! And, Richard was so helpful in giving Us some info! They both had such a fabulous attitude! Such wonderful customer service in this store!"
"I went to Ace after doing a bunch of research on what pellet grill I wanted to get. Richard our Ace associate that assisted us not only educated me even further with some support from one of his regular customers Mark they apparently know each other well as Mark is probably in Ace every day being a senior citizen. Mark was great brand ambassador and Richard not only was super positive informative but he upsold me from the $699 on sale Traeger Pro to a much bigger Traeger with WiFi capabilities to connect to the App which the app is a game changer . I left being upsold to a $1,480 purchase with a smarter pellet grill and all the accessories a man could want. Richard the Ace employee is a shining example of what you want out of an employee. Very kind professional and knowledgeable. Ace is the place."
"I was just browsing around while my kids were at the mall. Hardly any customers and plenty of young staff there keeping themselves busy. Very nice kids and helpful. Bathroom was awesome clean and they had a filtered water dispenser by the restrooms. Clean and up to date store. They had all the little twerky items you can't find at the big box stores."
"NEVER SHOP HERE!!! A couple of months ago I purchased a Stihl chainsaw with a 16" bar. I purchased the most expensive one you could buy to ensure longer life for serious usage. The men who were taking care of me did not seem interested in me as a customer. Today I found some time to put the chainsaw to use. After about 10 minutes or so the casing came off, the bar fell out, as I was using it. I nearly got my hand cut from the blade as it was swinging off. The men who sold it to me filled it with gas and oil and started it up before I purchased it because I wanted to make sure it worked properly. They only ran out for a few seconds. They were the ones who put everything together. Apparently, they didn't tighten something properly or this particular model or particular saw happened to not stay tightened well. I called this Westlake Ace Hardware store from where I purchased the saw to see if I could return it because of everything I have described thus far. I talked with a lady on the phone. I explained everything to her. She told me that I could. So I drove over thirty minutes from the country to the city to exchange this saw for hopefully a better one, pay the difference and when I talked with the manager there she acted surprised that any of her employees would tell me that I could do that. I had my receipt and everything. I told her I talked with a female and the only female employees at the store were standing right there as I explained everything. She talked me as though I was making up a lie, publicly humiliating me in front of everyone around, so I showed her that I called the store by showing calls that I made on my phone screen and she realized that I did call their store. None of the women there owned up to their mistake or lie or whatever it was. There were absolutely no accommodations whatsoever for my loss or time for driving all the way to their store because of either a mistake, etc. I was looking for a sincere apology and didn't receive anything. They just treated me like I was up to no good. I have supplied a picture of my receipt with the Stihl saw info and the store address. Go to another hardware store if you need something!!!"
"Nicely kept store with a little of everything but not a lot of anything. Good paint, yard, tool, electrical, hardware, home and garden sections for their size. Prices are decent. Lacking some things I hoped to find but perhaps a little too specialized. Found a couple items in the wrong places and some things not in stock."
