"Jerry and the team at Custom Off-Road were fantastic to work with on a recent suspension upgrade to Old Man Emu BP-51's on my 2021 LC200. They were very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of my vehicle, including the KDSS system, and did a great job with the install. Jerry was great at setting expectations on timeframe to get the parts, as well as the timeframe to install them. I couldn't be happier with their service and expertise."
"Purchased a motor for our 2004 Jeep wrangler. Pd $10,000 plus from custom off-road equipment inc, Had motor replacement 3 times! Motor has since gone out again all within 2yrs Custom off-road has now said warranty is out! They do not warranty each new motor they put in, So next step getting a lawyer."
"So I would recommend to check with another place to have upgrades done to you vehicles. Their customer service is an absolute joke, their quality control is a joke. The first instance had them do a coil over conversion and it was popping after leaving. Take it in they say it normal. I get a second opinion and then go back to them they said it had loose bolts. Second instance was some lights and other accessories. One of the many lights they put on was dimmer. So when I noticed less than a month of the installation I took it to them and they say it was just the angle I was looking at it, everything is fine. So I test their theory roughly a week later and no matter what direction i looked at it, it’s still dimmer than the rest. I’ve made several trips back wasting my time and money. They could take one of their guys off a project to pull a light off to get it sent in under warranty. Their b.s excuse is, I said I would try to bring them the light pod. But I haven’t had the time nor should I have to remove a part they installed that should be covered under warranty. I’m in the service field as well and realize the didn’t make the light but if a part I installed was faulty I would fix at the customer convenience not mine."
"Only bring your Jeep here is what you need done is cosmetic. I made an appointment and it was a month out. When I made the appointment I explained the issue I was having (clearly mechanical). I thought to myself, they are backed up they must be good. Well I show up fo the appointment, and drop my Jeep off. They test drove it, called me and said they can't do anything under the hood, and charged me $50. They initially were going to charge me $140 but had some sympathy because I was involved in a hit and run. So just wanted to make sure no one else falls for this and wastes their time and money. The second star was for the sympathy."
"Todd and his staff are very knowledgeable and super friendly. They have worked on my 2016 jeep and 1998 dodge truck. I will be a life long customer."
