"I was so excited to become a part of this family as I just moved to BA. I first came in in a lot of pain later to find out due to a cracked tooth under the crown. My first appt 2 weeks ago - she could not see anything causing my pain but I was in tears. I was referred to a Endodontic specialist I left in pain waiting for the referral with them still not agreeing to give me anything to relive the pain. I was partly ok since she could not see what was causing the pain and I work in the medical field so I understand. The specialist confirms the crack and that the teeth need to come out. I make an appt to get that done asap and which they did yesterday-removed 2 teeth and still refuse to give me anything. I only need 2 days to get through the initial pain and soreness in my jaw that hurts to my ear. I want a dentist who cares about my well being and not to assume I am just wanting drugs. I am now looking for someone to finish my oral care with care! UPDATE: Guess what….. I got a call from the dentist office this Monday….. Not to check on my pain level or just check in because of any concern or my review on Friday……….. this office lady ann said “ I was just calling to see if I was suppose to cancel you and your husbands appt for a cleaning on nov 1st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Are you kidding me- not to call with customer care or expression of apology you did not meet my needs - you want to confirm my comment meant that I wanted to cancel. You got to be kidding….. I feel racially profiled as a drug addict and Not appreciated as a patient that only expected a close to pain free experience after what I went through. Do not recommend Divine Dental on BA - it’s Not DIVINE at all yall!!!! All the other comments have apologetic responses instead I get a call to offer to cancel my appt in advance without mention of concern at all SMH!!!! If you look at my post majority said YES they got even narcotics where other than African American smh…?but I’m suppose to assume good intent. I try but yeah this ain’t it! My pain is barable now so I’m good but frustrated! See their mission statement is full of infilled promises for comfortable dentistry-big fat NO!!!!"

"It had been well over 25 years since I had been to see a dentist. I have this office a lot of credit for the expertise and professionalism. The ladies in that office have a very kind, patient, and loving spirit. Getting an appointment may require some time, but the wait is well worth it. I'd like to thank Ms. Ellen Reynolds for taking care of Deep Cleaning and also thanks to Julie and Annie (front desk receptionists) for their part in making my experience as pleasant as possible.
