"Love Dr. Starkey! He never wants to do anything unnecessary, especially with baby teeth. He always answers questions. My son has been going since he was a toddler. They never make him do a cleaning if he doesn’t want to and always want them to feel comfortable. However our last two appointments have not as great as they usually were. My son was due for X-rays. They brought him back, but he was very unsure of the whole process. He has never had X-rays before so he was nervous and scared about the machine moving around him. He moved and did not want to do it. The hygienist was annoyed that he wouldn’t cooperate… It’s a pediatric dentist….my son is seven with ADHD and has never had X-rays before. It really rubbed me the wrong way with how they acted about it. Instead of making him feel comfortable they just tried to talk him into it and then gave up. My youngest was about 7 months old at this same appointment and had two teeth coming in so I wanted to schedule him for the next time my oldest would be due for a cleaning. The hygienist told us we didn’t need to make an appointment and Dr. Starkey could just check his next time to make sure they looked good! We get to our appointment in May and they looked at me like I was crazy when I mentioned they were suppose to look at my youngest also. They said no you have to make an appointment and we’re full today. No big deal but I wish there was better communication."

"I seriously cannot say enough good things about this place! In late 2015, we were in a car accident when my son was 9 months old and the spare tire landed on him in his car seat and damaged his baby teeth. At the ER, he was check out as okay. Long story short....In 2017, when my son was 2 years old, we had an almost fatal visit with PDG (Pediatric Dental Group) at 91st and Memorial. Later that same year (2017) I was referred by my hand specialist's assistant to Mr. Johnny Starkey and wow! Dr. Starkey and his entire staff took their time to gain back not only our trust but my toddler's as well! Some days were just visits with his staff to get my son comfortable again with a dentist. Stephanie and Claudia are wonderful! Now, my son is almost 8 years old and looks forward to going to his dentist!!!! I tell EVERYONE about Starkey and his staff! They are the very best with everything! THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU for everything you guys have done for him and us!"

"My kids have been through a few dentists, but none they love so much as this one! The hygienists take great care and everyone in office is genial and kind. The office is never crowded or chaotic. The waiting room has an awesome playground which my kids love. Dr Starkey is very knowledgeable and my kids (who are normally a little shy around male doctors for some reason) feel very comfortable with him. Lastly, they pack their goody bags with such care, it’s the highlight for kiddos!"
