"I decided to give this club a try since it was under new ownership. The new club mostly plays Latin now. And not so much hip hop. The Hip hop side was hard to get too. Something about it isn't welcoming the dance floor or was it the room. Lol. But Drinks are always good. Never had problems with bartenders. But some staff are not so friendly."

"I recently came to gem , and If I could give this nightclub zero stars, I would staff extremely pushy for tips. I am a medical patient and legally they’re not allowed to ask me for my medical card, and they still wouldn’t let me pass through without .tipping them. Their worker was very pushy. was looking at my phone to see How much money I had in my bank account (so disrespectful) and when they were trying to get me to tip them, I told them no I can’t tip them. I didn’t have enough money to tip them and then when they weren’t letting me in ( in very cold weather) . I conceded and tried to tip them on Venmo the person lied to me and told me it didn’t go through so they had me try cash app and they had two transactions go through, that’s extremely shady. I don’t really like that I am telling all my friends and family never to go there. staff very very very pushy and very tip hungry. All in all Zero stars preferred this club when it was Echo, at least there staff never tried to hustle there guests!!!"

"Gem club is a total vibe. They have some of the most dope events you'll find in SLC. You ever out and your looking to party this place is highly recommended. They don't serve food, but if you do get hungry Gems is located right next to over 6 different food trucks to choose from. 8-10 on the experience. You guys should check it out for yourself"

"This club thinks it's in New York or Miami. They are intentionally trying to set themselves up to look like a high-end club by setting up exaggerate security checkpoint and ridiculously over-priced drinks ($25 for a corona and a vodka tonic!). In reality, the space is rather limited. Their dance floor is small. Also, they charged me twice on a single order on my credit card. If I hadn't checked, it would've gone unnoticed. Filing a dispute now. If you order drinks here, check your transaction record later to make sure they didn't slip in an extra charge. Save yourself money and trouble by going to better clubs."

"Love the new vibes here since they changed ownership and reopened in July!! Love the fish bowls and the fact that you can get real bottle service if you order champagne! Also love that there are three different clubs with different music in each one now so you can bounce around! Plus all the workers are good looking, nice and hard working too! Everything is just way better at this club now! We got a custom marquee sign with our table so it was really fun!! Would highly recommend booking a table here! They also have a guest list you can get on so that you can get in free!"
