"Amazing Place! Moving to a new city and within months having a tooth start to ache seemed like a terrible thing. A little web search showed OKC Smiles as well reviewed and Dr Phan is a teacher at the dentistry school so I decided to give them a call. They made an appointment for me immediately. I am 69 years old and have been to the dentist enough to know the usual 'drills' (pun intended). I thought my last dentist was good but this place was like I was in a movie. The staff was all smiles and helpful at every step (and I like to ask lots of stupid questions and fuss about everything). I was told the exam was free and treatment would be mutually agreed upon before any charges were levied so I sat back and let them do their job. And what a job they do. The regular pictures, X-rays, and exam let me see my mouth and teeth like ... unbelievable. Yet my anxiety was climbing like crazy as I was thinking it was going to cost quite a bit; how can they give away an exam like this without loading the other end. Then I met Dr Phan. He went over the pictures, X-rays and findings and started by asking me questions about what I wanted. Never had a doctor do that before. I said fix the tooth I came in for and that I couldn't likely afford getting the 3 other areas fixed. When he said ok and brought me the financial agreement form for the one area It was less than half of what I paid for my last crown, and it had prices for the rest of the work when I was able to address them. It blew my mind. I added the next most urgent area to bring the charges up to what I wanted/expected to pay going in but with twice the work done. And Dr Phan was like an artist the way he handled the prepping of the 2 teeth I had crowns done for. Best dental experience I've ever had. At any age it's not smart to let tooth problems go but money becomes a concern, and it's nice that I was able to get so much done for such a reasonable fee. I'm going back in a few months, when I can afford it again, to get the other less urgent (and even less expensive) work done. You probably could have lived without seeing my 2 new crown temps (on either side of the molar) but with so many bogus reviews out there .... well that's the real thing. Dr Phan and his staff are an amazing office and experience; not a statement I have ever made about a dental office before, not even ones I liked. All I can say is give 'em a try."
