"**Update(Two Months): I'm still just waiting; talk to the front desk last week, and she has no clue when it’s coming back. She told me she would reach out to the lab, but I’m not sure if she did or not—my advice to MILITARY families is not to get anything done a year before pcs. The people in the back are very nice and friendly, but hopefully, others have a better experience with the front desk than I did. I want to share my experience with Oklahoma Dental Implants & Oral Surgery(Lawton). I have been a patient of the clinic for almost two years and have been trying to get implants done. However, I have noticed some things that could be improved during this process. Although I understand that a year has passed since I first inquired about the implants, seeing such a significant price increase was still concerning. -Jan 28 The second red flag was that the clinic kept telling me they did not receive my paperwork. However, I handed in the paperwork in person to the front desk. Despite this, I was hung up multiple times when I called to follow up. I'm a new mom, so it's a lot for me to come up there. I never got the names of those who hung up on me, and I wondered why they would do that(poor customer service). It has been three weeks since I last heard from the clinic, and I am still waiting to receive any calls with information regarding my implants. When I called to inquire about the status of my implants, I was told by the front desk(no name) that the paperwork still needed to be sent to the lab. The front desk lady did not provide me with her name and was rude to me, even though I was only trying to obtain information about my implants, which I ordered a month ago. I was not yelling or doing anything wrong, but the lady still had an attitude towards me. It is her job to provide me with information, and I do not understand why she would be upset with me for calling. I am confused and ready to get the implants done. I was asked if I wanted to get a refund, and I was so lost. Where did that come from? However, I will keep calling every other week. I am still waiting for updates. I hope to get them back before PCSing. I asked if I could talk to someone, and the phone hung on me again. I don't know why the front desk(no names) is mad. I trust the clinic to do my implant, and I'm still waiting for them. -February 28"

"About 3 months ago my spouse tried to have a tooth extracted by this clinic, they told him the insurance didn't pick up the procedure. My spouse called our insurance gave them all of the codes and was informed that infact the procedures were covered. So again he tried to recieve help from Dr woods and staff. Again was turned away with no effort. After dealing with multiple infections due to said tooth the mission of mercy free dental clinic came to Lawton which in fact Dr woods is affiliated with them. My spouse went to the free clinic as that was his last and only option. Tooth was extracted. Next day turned into a medical emergency. Fast forward to 3/8/2024 my spouse was having a regular conversation and felt a painful pop on his jaw. Saw a dentist Monday 3/11 who took an X-ray and saw a fracture. Was referred yet again to Dr woods office upon arrival the Front office staff was very rude and inconsiderate. After being forced to pay $100 for the cte that was done due to the fracture cause by the organization affiliated with this practice was told he'd have to go somewhere else because they don't deal with jaw fractures. I will never recommend this business to anyone. And I hope none of these people ever have to go through what he has gone through and I hope they are never treated the way he has been treated. And as medical professionals should be ashamed of the treatment given."

"Veterans beware. Couldn't even get an appointment. I called the office to explain that I received a letter from the VA stating that a referral was sent and I need an appointment. They said they didn't receive it. While I was talking, the receptionist starting breathing forcefully through her nose. I asked her to stop breathing into phone as it was making it hard to hear. She told me she could hear me and everything was fine. I started talking again about the VA referral and she then starting breathing forcefully from her mouth "FFFFFFFFF!!! (deep breath in) FFFFFFFF!!! (deep breath in) FFFFFFFFFF!!". I said "Lady, stop blowing into the microphone!. She lied and said she couldn't hear it and it was fine on her end. I had the VA re-send the referral 3 more times over several days. I called back and the receptionist told me "Nope, I've got nothing with your name on it. I can't make you an appointment". The staff are either incompetent and unprofessional or they have an extreme aversion to accepting veterans as patients. After fooling around with them for three days I called the VA and had my referral changed to Lawton Oral Surgery."

"Great team that works well together. Very personable and kind. They took good care of my son. They didn't have cold ice packs after surgery. I suggest taking some instant ice pack with you just incase."

"I was truly amazed. My main concern was not being numbed enough. They came and woke me up. I said, "am I going to the procedure room now?" They said, "you're done." I was amazed and very glad that I didn't feel a thing when my tooth was pulled." The Dentist was very personable and his staff not only friendly but professional. I would strongly recommend this wonderful Oral Orthodontal team to anyone."
