Reviews of Mirella at Foxboro
"I love living here. I know you may question if this is a real review and this place is so good to be true. I’ve lived in apartments before and this honesty feels like the perfect home. We love our layout it is so much space it feels like a house. I’ve had issues in other places with hot water in the shower. I’m so happy that we don’t have to worry about that. My neighbors are fairly quiet for the most part. As to be expected when you are living around people you will hear people. I love all the amenities, outdoor playground for kids, swimming pool and hot tub. Applying here was the easiest process I’ve ever experienced. Also I’ve always had issues with getting my pets approved as an esa through apartments normally questioning my disability and trustworthiness. They were so timely and friendly I could not believe it. Anytime I need anything from the office they are on top of it. I like the area as it feels much safer than west valley. I’m so glad that I chose Mirella as my home and I would recommend to anyone. Thank you Mirella for everything you do."
"I can not say enough bad things about this place. We lived at mirella for a year and a half. The space was great and we were happy. About 4 months into living there the management changed and we started hearing noises from our neighbors on both sides every day. Music was blaring through the walls every second of the day. I spoke to the management and they did not care at all. We were not able to sleep, and had to sleep away from the apartment every weekend. Finally our neighbors moved due to letting multiple dogs go in the street, and getting in a fight with a manager at the other apartment complex near us. Also in that time the management changed again. The new manager looked into the noise complaints and determined they were valid. They told me to call the police. The police told me they don’t handle things like this. The new manager told me they put an eviction on their door and they would be leaving. That manager left and a new one started. All the emails were wiped and the manager told me they had no record of this. They came into my room and heard the music blaring through the wall said it was a problem and still did nothing. They raised the the rent twice while we were there. First by 1000, then after our lease was up they tried to raise it $300. They told us if we signed early we could get a discount on the rent raise and it would only be $200. Our security system was taken out and they came and replaced it with a new one and a new app. They interrupted my work while I was in a meeting with no warning. They couldn’t get the lights to work and sat there for an hour drilling and flipping the lights. When we we finally decided to move out we asked what needs to be done to ensure we get our security deposit back. We were told don’t bother cleaning anything because they will charge you for it anyways. Just clear everything out. I never heard back about our security deposit. I emailed them and got an email a week later saying they took more from the deposit because they had to “deep clean”. They sent pictures of our dryer lint trap and oven and said they were not cleaned as well as the outside of our door. We were told multiple times they were going to power wash the stairs and doors. It never happened. There was spilled cat litter all over the stairs and hallway. They never cleaned up. I have been moved out for a year in November and just received the security deposit this week. It was for $30 from our $500 deposit. I called 6 times and was told every time they are sending it. I then got a bill from grey star for the amount of our deposit. They told me they’d send it 6 desperate times, and I just received it a year later. Do not rent her. Do not even look at it. The management is so extremely poor and changes every 3 months. You will be nickel and dined for absolutely everything and they will tell you it’s all ok because you got a 50 cent popsicle and donut from them."
"We recently moved out of the Mirella apartments. When we first moved in almost 2 years ago it was really nice. The apartment, clubhouse, and pool are great! The maintenance team has always been friendly. They get the job done correctly and quickly. The management team on the other hand. We’re not a fan. I took an anonymous survey that management and sent and had said that people leave their dog poop everywhere and that it doesn’t get cleaned up. I then got a email from management asking me about the dog poop. What happened to the “anonymous” part of the survey… They also wanted to charge us for extra days that we weren’t even going to be living there anymore. Our deposit took a month to get back to us. We only received $170 dollars of a $500 deposit. Why take $300 out. There were no damages. I understand taking out some for extra cleaning and such, but $300! Our recommendation is you can find apartments near by that are equal in quality for a better price. Save your time and money."
"I'll start with the good and end with the really bad. I lived at Mirella for just over two years. At the time, it was the newest and nicest apartment complex in North Salt Lake. *Now it is second to Village Station on Orchard Drive. Anyway, when I moved in(2021), the rent was reasonable and the place was nice. It had a Vivint security system, great clubhouse and pool area. For an unknown reason(probably money), the Vivint systems were taken out in 2022 and not replaced with any other system. That action left a large metal plate on the wall where the Vivint home screen was originally. Even more disturbing was that new door sensors and a motion detector were installed when the Vivint system was taken out. Why is that Mirella? Motion detectors and door sensors for what reason? It really bothered us. Next, our 2nd year rent rose astronomically; too much. As a matter of fact, it rose almost $500/month which is ridiculous. If a payment to Mirella was more that a couple days late, an eviction notice was placed on said apartment door. Hypocritically, when we moved out, it took over 30 days to receive our deposit back so they are quick to collect and slow to refund. The on-site management changes frequently and we experienced three management changes in our 2 years there. In my opinion, I would look elsewhere. Our overall experience there was not great. Hope this helps. SJ"
"Overall, we have had a great experience at Mirella. The amenities are great, the property is pretty great overall, and is quite new, and we really enjoy the location. It is kind of expensive but a lot of places are expensive these days. The only issue we’ve had is the noise level we’ve had to deal with from surrounding neighbors has been uncharacteristically much worse compared to several previous apartments we’ve been in. Obviously, that wouldn’t necessarily happen to anybody who lived here, but it just happens to be what we have experienced. We would definitely recommend it though despite that issue!"
