"Great knowledgeable Judge that earned to uphold the Judicial system. Thank you for your service in office."
"In 2014 i received a no insurance ticket and expired registration and the officer let me slid on the expired drivers license. Had my truck towed and I spent the night in jail. went to court pled no contest and set up payment plans. Paid the two fines l and went and had my drivers license renewed and learn my lesson. Now fast forward to the beginning of February of 2020 I get this orange piece of paper from an attorney tmsnd the words WARRENT ROUND UP with my name on it. called the office of precinct 2 they told me I haven't paid my fines and there was an omni hold on my license. I told them I paid it. They said being your receipt in. I said I don't have tge receipt from six years ago. They said well you need to pay the ticket I said I did. I was just a little confused as why after si. Years and have an dot background and homeland security check done in 2018 for a industrial x-ray that nothing showed up. Well o ask if I could speak with the judge and he was willing to listen to me. So I went down and spoke to him and I looked him in the eyes and told him the true and he said he wasn't the judge then. That i already knew. And he said that they moved from the office in valley view to an office across the street from the court house. And he said some papers could have gotten mixed up accidentally. I said what about the computer files he said they rely hard copies after so many years.. He said well its been this long. Let me say he was shocked to see how long ago it was when he first looked at it. But he said its been this long but he didn't have no resone to make me pay and we could consider it settled. He had me sign a paper noting that the ticket was reservolved. We it isn't resolved now State of Texas has suspended my driveds license indefinitely until I pay $100 plus dollers to the state. As the state records state that I pled guilty in 2020 for a traffic violation. From 2014. That just correct I pled no contest In 2014 when I set up payment plans with the court. Just like everyone has to with traffic moving violation like I had. Tgd court don't make You pay the fines and then ask you what do you pled it don't work that way. The state has two years to pick up surcharges a After pleading guilty I never would plead guilty even if I was. I'm glad I missed placed my drivers license or I would have known my license was suspended. Because I didn't get nothing in the AOL about it.and if I would have gotten pulled over. Who knows what would have happened. Probably jail."
