"My partner and I both have a Sam's Club membership and a Costco membership. Our visit to Sam's Club started off well. An associate, Fisnik was at customer service and we've worked with him a few times before. This guy is always kind and helpful and makes it a pleasant interaction. My partner and I had to return an item of clothing that did not fit, and during the transaction, Fisnik convinced me to apply for a credit card. I did and got approved and he told us that I can use the credit account without having the physical card present and that I would just have to enter some information during checkout and would receive $30 off my first purchase. My partner and I did some shopping and went to checkout. There was only one register with an attendant and the rest were self chekout. Instead of waiting in the long line we decided to checkout ourselves. The register didn't seem to recognize that I had applied for the credit card and asked me if I wanted to apply. An associate, Natali was near and my partner asked for help. I showed her my receipt from the credit card approval and she cleared the cart and re-scanned everything just to get the same message I received. My partner was trying to tell me what a manager had said previously about using a credit card account but Natali cut her off mid-sentence! She did this to my partner twice and we found it to be really rude. We asked to speak with a manager and Karen came over to address the issue. While explaining the issue to the manager, the associate tried to justify her interrupting my partner stating that I was the card holder so she was only addressing me, then she back tracked to say she didn't hear that my partner was speaking. This associate appeared to pay no mind to what the actual issue was. Even the manager rolled her eyes when the associate stated her poor reasoning for her justification for cutting off my partner mid-sentence, twice. Usually our visits to Sam's Club are fine, and any associate we speak with is usually kind and understanding. This visit was unlike what we've experienced in the past. We just hope the company can see this and coach their associates to be kind and acknowledge any customer who is speaking. My partner and I were clearly checking out together and it's not like she was some random person coming up. My partner had a legitimate statement and for her to be blown off the way she was was quite upsetting and felt very disrespectful. We are both now credit card holders and left the store doubting if we made the right choice. My review could have been 5 stars, but I was not impressed or happy with the way my partner was treated."

"The shopping cart at Sam’s Club are very easy to push and turn the are so much better than carts at most other stores. The store was well stocked and had everything I needed. The store was clean and in good order. The checkout process was much faster than other warehouse stores. It was a great experience."

"I haven't been to Sam's in a while. They have mostly self checkouts now. I don't care for them. They checked my receipt before I went out the door. I felt like saying, " You trust me enough to let me check out my own stuff but you don't trust me to leave the store without showing a receipt." They should let me use their break room too since I'm doing all the work myself."
