"Just gorgeous. Wonderful riverside walk, big nice spruce and fir trees."
"Very beautiful area. Went for a bike ride there. It was very enjoyable. There was other bikers, joggers, and walkers with and without dogs. It was very clean and not to noisy being close to a main road."
"Great quiet park. Nice playground with a large green area and a couple shaded tables for a nice picnic. It has both a toddler and an infant playground."
"Very cute park, right at the entrance of Park City. It has a small playground and a fair amount of picnic tables. There are very few parking spots. There is also a grassy area and a small creek along the park. We noticed people going for a hike in the nearby hills. In August the temperature was 10-20 degrees cooler than down in the cities. We stopped here for lunch. One setback is there are no restrooms."
"What a cool local spot! We have been visiting Park Plaza in Park City for over 30 years, and never spent time at Prospector Park. The kids got sleds for xmas, so we needed a hill (a small hill). This was right by our hotel, and had the perfect little trails and hills. It was covered in snow, and even had a cute little bridge we sleded down. There were just enough trees to make you feel like you were out in the wilderness, and the people in houses near by semmed to enjoy that families could use the park and have fun. My only concern was the frozen lake/stream surrounding the park. I don't know how deep it was, but there were warning signs. Sooo, just keep your eye on little ones and pups. We will definitely be goind back next year, and I highly recommend checking it out for a walk, or sled."
