"Went through Real Advantage for a refinance in late 2019. They messed up the wire transfer to pay off the first loan and the previous mortgage was not paid off. We were made aware of this when the company that originally had our mortgage threatened foreclosure due to non payment. The people at Real Advantage were difficult to get ahold of but when they finally realized their mistake they apologized, paid off the original loan, and promised to pay for credit recovery for my husband's now seriously damaged credit rating. It has been over 3 months and they have not paid for credit recovery or reached out in any way to follow up with us on said recovery. I emailed the customer service manager and he said he would look into this matter and get back to me "in a few days", that was 2.5 weeks ago and I have not heard anything back. I wish we had used a different title company. This incident has caused us months of stress and very damaged credit."
