Walmart Pharmacy 2705 East Parleys Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84109

"In May 2022 I called the Parleys Way Walmart Pharmacy to see if they had a medication in stock. They did not. I asked if they could tell me which Walmart Pharmacy did have it and they said they did not have access to other pharmacies inventory. I called another local Walmart pharmacy and they quickly told me which pharmacy had the medication in stock. (The 4627 S 2705 E SLC pharmacy and they were very friendly and helpful when I called them) Yesterday, 11/29/2022 I visited the Parleys Way Pharmacy at 1:20 pm. They had a sign near the counter that said Flu and Covid vaccinations were available and "Walk-Ins Welcome") So I was a walk-in. I asked about getting a vaccination and they said they couldn't do it and to come back the next day. I asked why. They said they don't do vaccinations after 2 pm. or schedule a new one in the 30 min before 2. That's it. Just matter-of-fact "we can't help you". There were actually 2 other employees who quickly backed up the first person's response that they could not do it then. It was 40 min before 2. Oh well, I won't be back. The Macy's pharmacy just down the street was very accommodating, friendly, competent and quick. I went there and including the time to fill out the questionnaire I was in and out in 10 minutes. Go there!"

"I have had nothing but issues with this pharmacy. Is convenient for when I need to pick up other items as well but it’s not worth the hassle anymore. Needed a simple prescription and they waited until I got there to let me know they couldn’t verify the PA who had placed the order for me. They said they were already closed for the day and couldn’t verify but they were not."

"I had a somewhat irregular situation regarding a voucher for a prescription. There was a bit of miscommunication on my doctor's part and these folks at this pharmacy took the brunt of my frustration. However, they excelled in helping me and resolving things with great manors, professionalism, and even reached out to me--completely unrequired--to see if I needed any further help once everything on their end was resolved. They showed to me that they understand the struggles and processes that people go through with healthcare and they can excel in helping turn that process into the desired result. Sorry for my own rudeness. I genuinely appreciate you not letting that affect your great attitude and service. I look forward to seeing you guy again."

"Please note that I am a current Walmart associate at this particular store; however, this review and my experience is entirely my own and I did not influence the staff to treat me any different than other customers. With that out of the way, onto my review. First time coming to this Pharmacy to fill a script and was pretty good! Staff were nice! Other than a slight hiccup with my birthday on the insurance, the pharmacy was still able to fill the perscription and still have the insurance pay for part of the script. Nice job, guys! Would recommend this pharmacy to people. I hope you found this review helpful! Thank You!"
