"Unfortunately, our experience here was rough and disappointing. I needed a new alternator in my Mazda. They offered to rebuild it or order a new one, and I opted for a new one. I am assuming they put a new one in, but I honestly don’t know because they didn’t give me any paperwork showing this. I dropped my car off at 8am and had not heard from the shop, so at 1:30pm I called and got an update stating they were having trouble removing the alternator. I wish they would have just said they tried, but couldn’t do the job right then. Instead, they kept my car without updating me before they closed for the day. I had to call the next morning and find out what was going on, to which I got the same response of them having a hard time getting the alternator out. So it’s 24 hours later and they still didn’t have the alternator removed. Around noon they called to inform me they broke the radiator in the process and were having to replace it. I personally believe they broke the radiator the day before and this is why they did not update me, but instead had to get a new radiator. They did not charge me for a new radiator, which I appreciate, but again, I don’t know if it was a new radiator or a refurbished one because they did not give any paperwork stating this. The final call was before closing up shop, but they were replacing fluids and cleaning it up, so I offered to pick it up the next morning. I asked if this was a common issue or if it was just my car, and the receptionist informed me it was because of my type of vehicle and that the mechanic told her not to book anymore Mazdas because of this. She also told me they underestimated the labor costs, but I asked if they would honor their first estimate, and they did. I’m sure they are nice people and mean well, but I would not recommend taking your vehicle here. I haven’t had any issues yet, but I feel nervous and skeptical of the job done."
