"Stuart at the pharmacy counter is a joy to watch working. He brightens each of his customers day. Refreshing to see someone enjoying their work. Thank you"
"This place is the worst. Constantly wait on hold forever and then get disconnected. Line is always insane and moves incredibly slow. Might be the slowest pharmacy in the world."
"Used to be great for picking up prescriptions but drive through covid testing and people getting vaccinated has overwhelmed the staff. It’s august 2022, covid is over. People need to move on with there lives and find something else to worry about. It’s a Sunday morning and after trying the drive through and then waiting inside it is taking over 20 minutes to make a 1 minute transaction and pick up an already filled prescription. Not pleased."
""If that makes you happy" the chubby female manager sings. Are we the customers not supposed to present the facts as we feel and see them? So if the customer has a concern, that person cannot voice their concerns? I had a problem with the points system when I tried to use my points, so I was quite upset to travel home to find a recent receipt from yesterday, then back to this store. Need to hear from the regional manager on this backwards points system."
"I go back and forth about liking this Walgreens, but ultimately they frustrate me more than they make life easier. I put a medication on auto-fill, after the initial fill, they filled it again 5 days later, and then a second time before I had even picked up the second refill; and then they sent a refill request to my doctor whom denied it; of course they did! I had two scripts left; they clearly didn't understand the medications and the instructions. 5 pills last a month, but I hate when they send out refill requests without permission especially when I had two refills on file. Last night I put in refill request for my husband for pick up today; tried to login into the website and its been down for the last 2 hours; I had something to pick up for myself and requested an update on my husbands scrip. The pharmacist simply says "sorry, its not ready yet - if it takes to long to fill his script, you may want to call your doctor and have them call in a new script somewhere else" Clearly confused, I ask for clarification - why would the doctor need to call in a new script when we have a refill available, and another refill on top of that? A doctor is not going to just call in an extra script somewhere for a controlled substance because the pharmacy is slow to fill it. I said that's okay, we can wait until later today and pick it up, to which the pharmacist replies "well it might not be ready today." Even more confused, I again inquire why? The pharmacist replies that they are extremely short staffed and and have 168 medications to fill and only two people. While I don't blame the pharmacist, and appreciate his honesty - Walgreens should be ashamed of themselves. They are a huge corporation with a ton of stores. People are dependent on their medications, if they are unable to fill them timely they have an obligation to their patients know to go somewhere else PRIOR to accepting new medications. Think of all the refill requests they are going to get today; antibiotics, antidepressants, etc. The pharmacist said "he had no idea when my husbands script would be filled, and didn't even know if it would happen today." I transferred the 3 medications I had on file to another pharmacy; when I asked the pharmacist if I should request the refill today to be ready on Thursday (d/t short staffing) he stated - "I don't know maybe?" Due to their lackluster response and uncertainty I decided the best course of action was just to transfer them to another pharmacy, especially because I will go through withdrawal if my meds are not filled on Thursday when I run out. . Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, if you have scrips you need filled today (2/9) go somewhere else, if you have refills on file there and need them within the next few days transfer them elsewhere; Walgreens isn't going to take the time to let you know not to use their services due to their system overwhelm - they'll just keep you waiting … and waiting, without access to their online portal which makes it even more frustrating because you don't know what is going on. Anyways, that's all."
