"It would have been nice to know Lancer won't work on a car that leaves their lot with an expired CNG tank before getting charged $150 to fix nothing; yes, there was a diagnostic fee (larger than some) but a lot of people depend on being able to apply such costs to repair. Consider being up front and telling clients what your standards are before service begins. If you were truly worried about safety you wouldn't even try to start the vehicle. Make sure to be consistent by not disregarding other legal regulations; make sure no car leaves that has received more than diagnostic services which has a windshield scratch (R714-160-15.1.b.i.A), unauthorized tint (R714-160-15.1.c.i.E), seat adjustment mechanism malfunction (R714-160-16.4.a), etc."

"Lancer is great! Be prepared to spend top Dollar on OEM parts, but they will do everything right. I've utilized them for diagnostic services several times and then done the work myself. They're really great for everybody because they know how to work on trucks. Can't tell you how many other places I've gone who literally made up things about my trucks. But Lancer always gets straight to the solution. I had replaced almost everything on my F350 brakes but still not working. The tech At Lancer figured out that I had put in a bad booster, should have gone into them at the first place would have saved me a week's worth of work!"

Make sure you're open about what you'd like them to do, and not do without a phone call for approval, and that's what will happen. They have Chevy and GM tools/equipment to diagnose most anything like a dealer does from my experience."
