"Hondura Automotive made it easy for me to choose them as my #1 trusted mechanic! Although they have properly fixed my domestic vehicles (Dodge Dakota), they performed significant, high quality work my family’s imported vehicles (Honda Odyssey, Honda Pilot, Lexus RX350). New vehicles are so expensive these days, so I need my older vehicles to run for a long life, which is why I choose Hondura! It is not as easy these days to find trusted mechanics that have the highest integrity. I appreciate that they also don’t simply try to offer the “cheapest” fix - they stand firm on what is the “right” fix for you and are very reasonable and authentic. Additionally, they have great processing and billing to make it seamless for me to get precise quotes and information, as well as provide simple payment methods. I trust their full team with my vehicles that carry my family safely on long trips, as well as our vehicle that will carry my daughter off to college soon! I highly recommend their services. "Only reason I’m leaving a 3* review is because I’m currently awaiting my car and have not seen how good a job this place is, but not off to a good start. The lady at the front desk is about as nice as a grizzly bear. You need a new front desk person, they are not suited for customer service. She was rude and short and didn’t act like she even cared, just that she was too busy to be bothered."
"I previously took my car there when Johan owned the business. It's now under new ownership with Johan's nephew Bernard running the operation. He was very nice until there was a problem I took my vehicle there in June 2023 for rear struts. I received my car back and there was still a loud rattle, there was black grease on the headliner, my rear seat clips were broken, and the plastic access covers to my struts were broken. I went to him for help and he immediately became very rude to me. He told me he would put the old struts back on my car, and refund my money. (I was told by staff when in the shop were very difficult to remove the old struts and were damaged to get them out) Later he said he would just refund me. I paid I paid by credit card, but he refused to refund the same way. I was ordered drive back to Hondura, and collect cash, and sign my name to an invoice. Cindy his front desk person suspiciouly said I know exactly what you are doing, and I know your kind as she gave me the refund. The behavior there was so unprofessionally appaling that I want to warn others before doing business with them. What a terrible way to treat a person.They treated me like a criminal for their poor actions. They need to take a real good look at themselves, and how they do business."
"I have used Hondura over the years with both my 2004 and 2014 Accords. Over the weekend my starter went out that I had Hondura replace in August of 2022. I tried calling/texting numerous times throughout Friday afternoon to find out if it was under warranty. Monday morning I called again to attempt to make contact and again check on the warranty status... I have NEVER in my life been talked to as rudely by a receptionist as I was the one who answered the phone! I explained who I was and that my car was broke down, possibly the starter, and was curious about if it was under warranty and if so what that covered... parts/labor whatever. The conversation started off rocky as I could tell I was putting this lady out by calling. Initially the lady told me my car had not been there since 2021, I simply said I don't think that is correct I have a ticket right here from August of 2022. She made it very clear I was putting her out sighing and saying she would look again, she continues to tell me my car was there in Aug. 22 for a new alternator not for Starter replacement. Again I said ma'am can you double check that I know i had the starter replaced at the same time. So again she sighs and makes a big production of having to do HER JOB. She then tells me yes she sees it did get a new starter. So I ask ok well is there a warranty on the parts or anything. She says and I QUOTE..."Why don't you look at your ticket that you say you have" and continues to be a beast not wanting to take my phone call. (Which I will say in the fine print I did find the warranty info BUT how many of us really read that!!) I finally stop her and said I am unsure why you are being so ugly but I would like to speak with someone else, like management! She OF COURSE was the only one available. I will NOT do business with someone as hateful as that. Not to mention I paid around $2,000 to have several things fixed on that 2022 visit. Starter/ Oil Gasket were 2 things. When I had it taken to a shop yesterday they informed me the oil gasket was leaking and insinuated it had never been fixed, which they said could be a cause of why my starter was out again because the oil was getting on the starter THAT I PAID TO HAVE FIXED by Hondura in August of 2022. So between the fact that the receptionist is a complete WITCH and I couldn't speak with anyone with a brain to find out if my problems were covered AND the fact that now I suspect they didnt do the original work I paid for in 2022 I WOULD NEVER EVER do business with this establishment EVER again!!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE."
