"I took my 2011 Land Rover Range Rover to British Auto and they were very thorough and reliable my car is running extremely well. I highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of auto repair"
"I can't say whether or not their work is stellar but I will say that their pricing is too steep just to tell me something that's pretty much general knowledge for them as they are pros at working with these British vehicles: the Land/Range Rovers. I took my 2000 Land Rover Discovery II to the shop for the following issues: the truck would start but would not stay on and there were these lights called "The 3 Amigos" that kept displaying. I wanted them to run a diagnostic on the truck to see if possibly the fuel line needed to be replaced or something else. The only thing that was explained was "The 3 Amigos" that displayed. They did not have to necessarily do anything as far as tearing down anything to diagnose the issue with starting and staying on. The only that was explained was "the 3 Amigos" sensor light that was displayed which I feel is general, off-the-top-of-head knowledge for them to already know as they only deal with these vehicles every day. I paid almost $200 for this general knowledge I do not feel was worth the money I paid. I will say that the gentleman I spoke with was polite and did allow me to decide on whether or not I wanted them to proceed with diagnosing why the truck would not stay on and forewarned of the cost being more than what the truck was worth. Although bad news, I appreciated it very much."
"The guys at British Auto Service are great. I found them after using another shop. I’m so glad I chose to take my Range Rover here instead. They are very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend these guys."
"I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from this auto repair company. Initially, I brought my car in due to a coolant antifreeze leak in the vicinity of the coolant tank. The company assured me they had identified the issue and quoted a repair cost of approximately $3000, which I reluctantly agreed to, given the need for the repair and the value of the vehicle. Upon picking up my car after the supposed repair, I immediately noticed a strong antifreeze odor while driving. I promptly contacted the company, and their response was that the smell was residual antifreeze from the previous leak around the coolant tank. Afterward, I left for a two-month vacation and did not use the car. Upon my return, I encountered a recurring issue with the error code "coolant water low." Exasperated, I returned the car to the same repair shop, where they informed me of the need for an additional repair costing around $1100. Their explanation was that they had not inspected behind the coolant tank during the initial repair, an aspect I believed should have been standard procedure. I find it unacceptable that I had to explicitly request a comprehensive examination of all possible issues when seeking car repairs. Despite my frustration, I decided to proceed with the additional repair, as my primary goal is to rectify the vehicle's problems to facilitate its sale. However, my dissatisfaction did not end there. When settling the bill, I was surprised to learn that not only did they change the quoted amount, but that the company also does not accept checks, and there is an extra charge for credit card payments, whether debit or credit. I would have had no issue making a cash payment IF I was told that this was their policy before hand. This policy, in addition to the previous issues, has left me deeply unsatisfied with their services and overall professionalism. At the end of the day, if someone is spending >$4000 on repairs, responsibility and honestly should come with It."
"After having to wait 5 hours on my last oil change at the Land Rover dealership I decided to try British Auto Service, made an appointment for my oil change. I arrived a little early, went in and checked in, they got my car in right away, changed my oil and filter, the price was significantly less expensive than the dealership. I live in Ponca city about 100 miles away. From the time I arrived till they finished didn’t take much more than 30 minutes. Everyone was friendly and courteous. I’ll be back. If you have a Land Rover I highly recommend taking it to British Auto Service for all your service and maintenance needs. I have a 2019 Land Rover Discovery. Thank you BAS!!!"
