V & T Body Shop

"The measure of a man is his integrity. I come from a world of a man’s word is gold! Sadly Tien falls extremely short of this. I had him do a smaller project for me, to which he did good. But I gave him my pride and joy “81 Trans Am” He promised a delivery date at the end of February, evidently that didn’t happen. After countless times of people telling him to get it done, he still didn’t. Then when I needed to know what was going on, he dodged my phone calls and my text messages. Only after I showed up to his shop and made my feelings known, did he finally talk to me. When I asked what was the story, he said he was just too busy. This is a 1981 Trans Am. They left it outside for 6 months, without the weather trim , causing damage to the interior. Then they parked it under a tree, so all the leaves and spring sprouts are all over the car and down in the door panels. In the end, I wouldn’t trust them to paint my dog house. I have referred them to tons of people, and this is what I got for my troubles. So do yourself a favor, go somewhere else!"

"Over the years I have taken my 4 cars to V&T 5 times. Both of my bothers have taken their cars there and I have sent a dozen friends to this auto body shop. One of those friends was in law enforcement and another has taken multiple cars there. I even referred the plumber working on my house to this shop. He saved a bunch of money and gave me a discount on my bathroom remodeling. Every one was very happy with the body work done. This is a small shop tucked in the industrial area west of Redwood Road. It does not have a fancy reception room or a nice big store front. Unless you are looking for it you wouldn't know the shop is there. They mostly work on dealership vehicles. Years ago I went to 3 other supposedly reputable body shops before I was referred to this shop by a used car sale friend. The most expensive body shop in Sandy has a Salt Lake Temple picture on the wall and was twice as much as V&T. The other estimates were significantly higher and vary greatly. The V&T owner is honest and a hard worker from Vietnam. If you like to shop at Nordstrom or Harmons, this body shop is not for you. But if you value your money and don't want to be taken advantage of, you might want to get an estimate from this shop and compare."
