Canyon Overlook Trailhead Parking Lot

"Parking lot is very small, about 10 spaces. We lucked out, just as we were coming out of the tunnel a car was coming out of the parking lit, so we grabbed it! There is more parking down the road a little ways but it is small too. Trail was awesome, a little more difficult for me than some sat, but I am 68 years old in need of a hip replacement."

"This is one hour trail (with return) and a must for everyone (able to walk without help should be ok). The starting stairs may make you think it is hard, but NO, it is an easy one. Take your time, you won't be regret. Just be cautious that some steps during on the trail are slippery, not wet, but sand. And I should say 70% of the road is narrow, only fit one person to pass. Parking is a problem if you are in summer time/ holiday. Highly recommended."

"While this is the closest parking spot to the overlook trailhead, it does have limited parking. It's also only accessible when coming up the tunnel, not going down. It only has space for sedans and SUV's - no trailers/RV's."
