About the Business
Larry H. Miller Field, located at 400 East University Parkway in Provo, Utah, is a state-of-the-art stadium that has been home to BYU baseball since 2001. Named after Utah businessman Larry Miller, the park features a unique baseball-softball back-to-back complex that is regularly praised for its engineering ingenuity and scenic beauty.
With seating for 2,204 fans, including two-tiered permanent seating and additional temporary seating options, the stadium offers a great view of the game from every angle. The press box accommodates radio and television broadcasts, media, and game-day operations, while the complex also includes concession stands, merchandise stores, and hosting facilities.
In March 2018, BYU introduced a new synthetic-turf field with a heating and drainage system underneath, allowing for more playing time during the winter months. The field was made possible by a generous donation from former BYU player Dave Decker. The turf is designed to mimic the feel of natural grass, with different heights in the dirt and grass areas.
The dimensions of the outfield at Miller Park are 402 feet in straight-away center, 347 feet down the left field line, and 343 feet down the right field line, with power alleys at 380 to left center and 388 to right center. Additionally, the bullpens, outdoor batting cages, and bunting station have all been expanded to enhance player training opportunities.
Overall, Larry H. Miller Field offers a top-notch baseball experience in a beautiful setting, making it a standout venue for collegiate baseball games.
