"I absolutely love peace of mine. My kids have been here from the beginning and they will be here until they are 18. If it wasn’t for her, my son wouldn’t have got help in the time that he need it she recognize that he has cerebral palsy at six months old and got us the help that we needed to do early intervention and my son is awesome today because of Dr. Abdul-Haaq I will always recommend her to everyone"
"My kids have been seeing Dr. Abdul Haaq for almost 14 years because she's that good. I always recommend her when someone is looking for a pediatrician. She is kind and friendly, listens to her patients and their parents, and focuses on the least invasive treatment options first. I can't say enough good things about her!"
"She's the best pediatrician. My kids love her and feel comfortable talk to her."
"I have loved this place the past year that we have been going. The nurse practitioner that worked with my son was warm, welcoming, and absolutely the best. The front desk staff and the other nurses are super sweet. But this last visit I had was the most uncomfortable and weirdest visit I’ve had ever. My son got a new nurse practitioner and she was awful. She had told me my son is delayed and will need speech therapy because he only knows 3 words and not 6. And then she continues to say that he’s delayed because he still takes a bottle (once a day with milk). I did research and a 15 month old should maybe know 1-2 words and an 18 month old should know maybe 3-4. She also continues to say he’s delayed because he doesn’t know what his eyes, mouth, head, nose, etc is yet. There’s a difference between advising and discriminating. I’m really good at taking advice and criticism but she made me feel attacked over it. She then mentions that I should have already taken him to the dentist (for a 15 month old with 6 teeth?) and seemed annoyed that I haven’t. And while she’s checking my son’s vitals, he was crying and she was trying to comfort him by calling herself grandma. My son also had two vaccines due and I told them I didn’t want to do them until his dad was back from deployment in a couple weeks because something was going on with his insurance and it just made me feel better if my husband were there with me for those things; I hear her talking about it with the door closed and she seemed annoyed. Im very shocked and upset that this has happened because everyone there is extremely nice but this woman has issues. My son is very well taken cared of, he is healthy, clean, safe, and loved. As a mom, I go the extra mile for my kids and this woman made me feel like I wasn’t Doing my job as a parent. My husband is livid and so am I. My son is very intelligent and if anybody knows him best, it’s me. Maybe it was a nag at me for being a young parent or she was having a rough day? There is a way of saying things and she did it absolutely wrong. She didn’t even ask if I had any questions or concerns and she didn’t even let me talk. She basically just mentioned everything wrong and then left."
"I really like our doctor here, she has kids of her own.So not only does she have the experience she got from being a doctor but she has experience being a parent as well. She's caring and understanding. She's patient. I think she works really well with kids. She takes the time to hear everything you have to say or are worried about. She seems like she loves her job, which I think is a must if you're going to work with kids/ baby's( I've had doctors that don't like kids and work in pediatrics which is why I've mentioned all of the above.)And I highly recommend her!!!"
