Build-A-Bear

"I’ve been to different build-a-bear’s in other states (Delaware, Maryland, New York), and this is just a poor location. This building is very small for a build a bear and it becomes very crowded fast with the huge influx of people that come to this shopping center. Also, I know it’s not the workers fault but there was only 1 worker to stuff the bears and check people out at the register on a Friday afternoon. The other worker was working a birthday party. I’m not sure if the business is just under-staffing their staff, not paying them well enough for people to want to work there, or other reasons to be so understaffed but it really ruined the suppose to be “magical” experience of going to build a bear. My children were luckily patient while waiting 45 minutes to get their Bear stuffed and another 20 minute wait to check out at the register, but other children and parents were obviously frustrated. I don’t think we would want to come to this build-a-bear location again."

"First time going for my daughters birthday. employees were ok and I really liked how the women stuffing the bears made the experience for my daughter (seems she was the only one who knows a thing or two about customer service). Other then that the experience was disappointing, we walked in and not greeted but instead let know it would be a 15-20 min wait, as if we weren’t there to spend time and money. Anyway after that there was no guidance what so ever. No one helped us at all let alone asked if we needed help, causing us to miss out on the voice box. We came to spend money and give our daughter a happy birthday experience but were let down ):"

"I went today for a fun experience for my little, and the older lady stuffing today 01/13/24 seemed very rushed and annoyed. She didn’t do any of the fun things that come with stuffing a bear with my child. She simply stuffed the bear and handed it to us. No fun dance nothing. There was no other customers! Very disappointed."

"Look, I’m one of those parents that has walked by this place and thought “what a rip-off” because of the price for a stuffed animal. But…. my in-laws were in town and wanted to give all their grandkids a build-a-bear experience. And that’s where I realized you’re paying for the experience. The lady who was doing the stuffing that night (12/23/2023) was incredible and made it such a memorable experience for all my kids. They were beaming and absolutely love their animals. So I learned it’s not the bears but the whole experience that makes it special. Big thanks to the kind workers that night!"

"We went in to get Halloween bears and the employees were so helpful. Cindy was so amazing with my daughter trying to decide on birth certificate things and outfits and a bag or box. This was the best build a bear I've been into in a long time. The new management and sweet staff make it such a fun experience."
