"Love the place, but we had a really bad experience just now. My grandmother and I found a beautiful, colorful horse statue that we were very excited to purchase. We left it in the back in the case (the associate put the sold sticker on it) and we continued to shop. Once we were ready to buy it, I went back to the case and told the associate there that I was going to the register to purchase the item (I literally saw it in the case at this point). After purchasing the statue, I went back to the case to grab it, only to find that within the THREE MINUTES I had gone between the register and the case THE ASSOCIATE IN THE BACK GAVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE!!! apparently two other customers were sitting waiting for it once we had left to purchase it, and the moment we were gone they were given it immediately. When we confronted him about it, he huffed and said we should’ve been quicker, and was very unkind. The manager was sweet and refunded us $5 extra, and another female employee was extremely kind and apologetic in helping us figure everything out, but the whole situation left a bad taste in my mouth and was very unpleasant. Unfair practice and poor communication, BAD VIBES!!! Won’t be returning and be careful when purchasing items in the case. Ugh."

"I love this place and think that it’s such a good place for those in need, but this worker named serenity who was very young was oh so very rude. She kept trying to get people in the back to come in front of my mom and me, and she talked to us in spanish which was so racially profiling just because our skin is brown. :("
