"Are you fighting a war over the top of Layton city? No? Didn’t think so, the whole base is come of the most inconsiderate pieces of garbage. That base is so huge and they have so much space, no reason to be flying over Layton all day long and as low as they do. My house litterly shakes, stuff falls off shelves. My ears are constantly hurting, but why would they care about anyone else besides there little cult they have behind those gates. Can’t believe my tax dollars go towards supporting these brainwashed militant clowns that “protect” our country. Such a joke"
"I absolutely love the jet aircraft! I've been to Hill a few times, and they were both amazing experiences. I absolutely love it when the F-35s fly over, because I absolutely love military aviation. I'm glad we're able to have these planes this close to us!"
"We attended the Hill Air Force airshow yesterday and had a great experience. You have to be there when gates open, and plan to wait in line, but it's TOTALLY WORTH IT. We got there around 9:15am (gates open at 8, show starts at 10), got a great parking spot, after being directed by dedicated kind service men and women. Then walk about ten minutes to get in line near the gate. We then waited in line for about one hour, bring an umbrella to lessen the heat! I wish they had a few more medal detectors, but again it's worth it. They allow small bags and small coolers. PACK CHAIRS AND WATER BOTTLES as there are water stations to refill water. The umbrellas are huge to provide shade as there is little shade near the runway where you want to be. You can find shade under the wing of the large aircraft but these are further away. If you have small kids this is a great place to watch the show, since the biggest won't be as loud either. When you are close to the runway like we were YOU NEED EARPLUGS!! The noise is damage level and so they really are necessary. There are people selling all these supplies (umbrella, chairs, earplugs, water bottles) in case you forget them. There are vendors to purchase overpriced food like all other outdoor places, we brought our own food but enjoyed ice cream from a truck. Bathrooms were located in three different locations and there was always enough that there was no line. Thanks for the sanitization stations in front of them. As we left, again service men and women directed traffic and did a great job helping move the masses. They provided shuttles to those who arrived on TRAX and parked far away. During the show everybody stands up to see the best view of what's flying by, so don't get upset if that happens. Just stand up with everyone else and grab a great photo."
"The Utah Airshow 2022 was amazing with lots of airplanes on display @ Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. The aerodynamic and aerobatic maneuver from the pilots were out of this world. Some surprise smoke bombs were awesome and scary to some. Overall, it was a wonderful day at Hill Air Force Base for everyone."
"Went to the airshow this year and was really a fiasco. My gosh. We got front row seats because we got up way early waited in line and beat out the huge crowds... THEN they told us ALL to move! So we got screwed from our spot and come to find out, they let people go back there to our spot where we were. We were furious. No coolers. No backpacks. You have to buy their water and food stuffs at concessions that are super expensive. After sitting on the hot tarmac for 8 hours we were done. Still had a decent time but for a free event it’s not free at all. I won’t go back to this airshow. I’ll wait for the one in Vegas. The only real entertainment was the F-35’s and the Thunderbirds."
