"The care was good and the front desk folks were super friendly and helpful, efficient…. Just know that the docs/nurses are not much into the patient being involved with the protocol/plan. I’m not used to that. Our regular family doctor works with us well… if we have a medically reasonable/appropriate request, he is always willing to work with us. This clinic is not much like that; they arent wild about the patient playing on the “team”, but they still take care of you. Although I tested positive for the flu, I knew that the altitude was getting to me because I get altitude sickness every time I come to the mountains. I get a tight band feeling around my head every time it happens. I always have to do a treatment of oxygen for a bit. I requested this twice but it was denied. My oxygen was 93. It wouldn’t have hurt anything to bring it up some. Especially with me being anemic. Especially with them knowing I have to do that often when arriving to the mountains. Other than that though, they took care of everything else."
