"Update: I sent an email with all the issues we have experienced and the COO reached out and made sure that all the issues were addressed and in the process exceeded all my expectations with his response. I have booked many vacations with Hess Travel in my past, specifically with Harriet who has since retired, and she made me a believer that utilizing a travel agent added value. However, this latest experience has left me disappointed, frustrated, and spending hours of my own time fixing the mistakes of the travel agent - and one significant mistake that cannot be rectified and is a direct result of the travel agents lack of awareness and ability to communicate with clients effectively. Needless to say, Hess travel will see no more business from myself or my family! They did not even offer to make the situation right or provide any compensation."

"HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Do not use them !! Will put you on the cheapest most inconvenient flights with the longest layovers. You will fly the opposite direction from your destination , have a several hr layover, then pass by your hometown on a flight that will take 3x longer to reach. We tried to get our returning flight changed and was told by the airline to contact Hess Corp. Hess corp. travel wanted to charge us $1100 per ticket to switch to a more direct flight. Obviously we didnt go with that. Instead we called the airline back and after explaining what Hess Corp was telling us , the airline helped us out and put us on the same $1100 flight and it only cost us a TOTAL of $128 for the 2 tickets AND CUT THE TIME WE WILL GET HOME FROM 13HRS TO ONLY 6HRS !!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They will take advantage of you every chance they get."
