"We had a foster child in our care and ELISA LEARY was their therapist. She knew nothing of the case even going to the meetings she still would give them the wrong information. She would tell them that they were going back with their mom no matter what, even when it started to become apparent that they might not be reunited with their mom. This caused behaviors in our home that we almost could not handle. Because they thought if they were going back with mom, there were no consequences for behaviors in our home. She would never answer their questions about what if they didn’t go back with their mom. The case ended that they did not go back with mom and they were not prepared for this outcome. The child even said in their own words that they knew what to say to manipulate her. The child was not happy with her and neither were my husband and I. She was very rude to me during our foster case and sessions with our child. This woman should not be a therapist to foster children."
