"I truly can’t say enough good things about Spine PT!! I went in a few months ago in so much pain from a rib slipping out of place. My therapist was absolutely fantastic!! He took the *time* to fully explain and show me, using spinal models, what was going on with my discs and nerves. I’ve never seen a clinician take that kind of time and care to make sure I understood the “why” and “how” of why I was in so much pain. Even though I have a medical background, I learned so much! If our medical care system was based off of how these therapists run this place, we would truly live in a different world. I was given more immediate relief from my symptoms with their skilled treatment. I was also given long term management with tailored exercises to do at home. I can’t say enough good things about these guys!! Definitely 5/5 stars!"
"Jim is a spine whisperer. If you have disc injuries in the cervical or thoracolumbar spine, there are simply no other physical therapists who will give you comparable results. I spent eight years rucking up mountains, being dumped out of helicopters, wearing body armor and ballistic helmets, carrying backpacks full of gear, and carrying other heavy equipment as a Joint Fires Observer in the military. This destroyed my back. By age 30, I had three disc replacements in my neck and lumbar, with three remaining disc injuries left untreated. Since 2015 -- in spite of surgery -- I'd been hobbling around like a crotchety old man who's somehow been afflicted with living rigor mortis, like a zombie. Severe pain, stiffness, and radiculopathy. Jim has been able to provide pain relief and restore my range of motion with remarkable punctuality. His fundamental understanding of the vertebral disc and the mechanical function of the spine, coupled with his personal experience with spine injuries, is what sets him apart from any other PT I've been to."
"I really can't say enough good things about Jim and Spine PT. I herniated two discs in my lower back over two years ago and just could not find relief. I tried three other physical therapists and they couldn't make a dent in my pain. I finally settled on surgery, but when that failed to bring relief I was utterly at a loss. A friend referred me to Spine PT and within the first appointment Jim was able to bring my pain under control like no other doctor or physical therapist could. He is so knowledgeable and thorough. I only wish that I had found in the early days after my injury; I'm fairly convinced I would not have needed/chosen to go with surgery."
"Spine PT is amazing. Jim Gubler is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I was down with a bulging disc, tried a chiropractor, tried eating ibuprofen and waiting, but it wasn’t getting any better. After my visits with Jim and reading his books, I understood so much more about the mechanics of my spine, and how I can avoid ruining my back again. Following Jim’s guidance, doing the exercises he prescribed, and changing the way I sit has helped me avoid weeks wasted lying flat on my back or hunched over and shuffling around, griping like a crotchety old grandpa. If I just described you, call these guys. The folks around you are tired of your complaining."
"I have been having back issues for years. Mostly from a Sciatica issue and more recently from disintegrating discs in my lower back. I saw Jim at the Lehi office and it literally changed my life. I was barely able to walk from my car into work, etc. After treatment and following the stretching exercises that we practiced it was only a matter of weeks before I was seeing remarkable improvement. I can now walk about a mile and a half every morning. I have been able to travel and I am so much more comfortable and mobile. The Sandy office is very nice also. I went there because I have having a new pain in my hip and Rob took his time and palpitated the area to find the cause which turned out to be an irritation of some nerves in my hip. After just the first couple of days doing the exercises he taught me, I am improving and the pain has decreased tremendously. They have a unique approach that is centered on eliminating the pain and limitations it causes and restoring your spine health. It is worth every penny to be pain free in a relatively short time and be able to live a normal life."
