"No privacy when checking in. Waited for an hour just to get out the waiting room to just go to another two different rooms. Nurses not friendly at all. I felt left out I was the only Hispanic in that building. Won't be coming back next time"
"For a colonoscopy procedure, they ask women if they have gone through menopause or has a hysterectomy in an open/common area. This is personal information and to ask it, openly, in an area where other patients can hear is inappropriate. It should be asked privately or on a paper questionnaire. You guys should know better."
"My wife and I haven’t been pleased with the front office. The lady we have spoken to has been short, sarcastic, and condescending so far. Explanation: My wife has a colonoscopy and a GI scope tomorrow at 3 pm. The instructions for the day before the procedure say no solid food and have pretty clear instructions on what is allowed, however, the reason for her procedure — long story short — is stomach issues leading to her being dehydrated and very hungry already. She can’t keep anything in at night or in the morning, and her nausea only eases in the middle of the day. Therefore, before we cut her off from getting at least some calories in as she is already starving (down 12 pounds the last 2 weeks) we wanted to call and clarify that “1 day before your procedure” meant the calendar day, not 24 hours. It took over 24 hours to hear back from them, and when she got a return call, the lady was demeaning, had a falsely kind voice that we could tell was really annoyed, and even cut off my wife when she tried to explain her question. “Hi, I just had a question about my procedure prep, and if the instructions for the day before include the whole day or just 24 hours before.” “oh, did you not get written instructions? Did you not read them? “I did, but because my procedure is at—“ “Yeah so on the instructions, if you just read it, it tells you what you can and can’t eat.” “Okay, I’ve read that part, I just wanted to clarify—“ “The bottom of page 2 should be highlighted for you. it’s not much to read! so if you just take a minute to read that it’ll answer any questions you have.” I think her question was reasonable, and deserved the time of day to at least ask it. The part of the instructions that the front desk lady obviously isn’t familiar with is the section at the very bottom of page 2 that says, “If you have questions concerning your prep instructions, you can reach our office during regular office hours” This review isn’t for the the whole facility, only front office lady. Please take the time to actually hear out patients’ questions, and give them a fair, reasonable response. An appropriate response (after actually listening to the question) would’ve been “oh gotcha. Unfortunately ‘1 day before’ does refer to the calendar day regardless of what time the procedure is.” I understand that our question may have seemed dumb to her as she knows this process forward and back, but we don’t. I get that she has to deal with people who didn’t even try to read the instructions all the time, but we did."
"Very friendly, patient staff. Front office was polite and helpful, and the nurses were excellent. I was asked multiple times if I had a concern, and my one concern was addressed in a way that I was pleased with. Other reviewers have commented that you feel like a number and not a person; I didn't feel at all that way. They are very efficient and I was in and out in good time but didn't feel rushed. Definitely recommend."
"Absolutely terrible experience with this place. Specifically, their billing department. For whatever reason, their systems always had my card come back as declined for my my monthly payments. However, I always tried to call them back within a timely matter and get it cleared up. Without any notice, though, on the last payment, they sent my bill to collections. They did not call, leave a message, e-mail, or snail mail me any kind of notice that this was their intention. When I called, the excuse was "Well, I can't have my people call you every time your card declines." First of all, it was their system. Second of all, that's what those people are hired to do. Third, I'm sorry that the 5 minute phone calls your employee was making was too much for her and was costing so much. I can seriously see how, at most, one hour a year to correct a problem that your system was having was too detrimental to your budget. The supervisor that I spoke to on the phone about the situation lacked any kind of compassion or understanding and simply told me that it was my fault and that they don't have to give notice to send an account to collections. I absolutely will never use this place for anything and will continue to tell everyone how absolutely awful they are. Do not ever go to Ridgeline Endoscopy Center, even if your life depends on it."
