"Ive been a type 1 diabetic for 49 years. I live in So Ogden and recently heard of the new location for Utah Endocronolgy in Washington Terrace. Having been going to Tanner Clinic in Layton and recently experiencing very poor service since their 2 best providers have left that practice, I was extremely disappointed! Couldn’t get them to prescribe my medications and Glucose meters. I researched Jasmine Sharifan PA-C at that office and called hoping to get an appointment to discuss my emergency needs of medication and switch over to her for my diabetes care. They had me immediately set up with an appointment to see her within 1 week. I can honestly tell you after visiting with her today that that is the best decision I’ve ever made. I’ve dealt with many diabetic endocronolists over the 49 years and I understand the disease. You can’t get any more professional and caring than Jasmine Sharifan! She grabbed the bull by the horns and got right on what I needed and dealt with the insurance red tape. Within 2 hours of my visit today, I had been approved and already picked up my necessary medication that I’ve so desperately needed. She is a dream come true for us and so kind and patient and willing to discuss all of our needs and issues. We believe that I am now in good hands and we couldn’t be more happy to have her as my provider and care giver. Thank you Jasmine and everyone associated in that office. We’ll see you on our follow up. Jeff and Karen Johnson"
"I don’t normally write reviews for places, but here we go. My experience here was mediocre at best. I had an appointment back in August towards the end of the month, because of an issue I was having dealing with elevated prolactin levels. I went here to try and figure out what was going on, and what could be done to “fix” the issue. The environment of the office was a little gloomy and didn’t feel super professional like say a normal doctors office would. I checked in and started filling out some paperwork on medical history and stuff, and I was trying to be as thorough as possible, so I was slow when filling out the paperwork. I was seeing Dr. Jasmine Sharifan, so she came to come get me, and we went into one of the rooms. I was still trying to fill out the paperwork and she told that I didn’t have to finish filling it out, taking the clipboard from me. I found that a little odd, because every doctor I’ve been to would want all the paperwork filled out so they have an idea of what they’re dealing with as far as any present issues and medical history goes. We talked for a little while on my issue, she didn’t seem too interested or even concerned with my issue. She said that my issue could be a result of a medication like birth control or a benign tumor in the pituitary gland, but she wasn’t really sure. I had informed her that I had been taking my birth control for many years now, so I highly doubt it would’ve been my birth control messing with things. She said they can do a MRI of the pituitary gland and see if they find anything, then she prescribed me a medication, had me get a lab done, and sent me on my way. My main concern is how unprofessional everything felt, the receptionists seemed like they were lost in their own world and didn’t seem to care a whole lot about anything, the doctor also didn’t seem to care or wasn’t concerned, she also seemed like she was rushing instead of actually listening. The only good experience was the lady who did my labs, she was awesome and seemed to care a lot! We actually had a little nerdy conversation about D&D, which made me feel better after the appointment. Kind of sad how the only person who seemed to care was the lady who did my labs. All in all, this place wouldn’t be at the top of my recommendations list."
"I recently visited this Dr. Office in hopes of getting a second opinion regarding some concerns I had. I decided to take a last minute opening and didn't have much time to do any research, or I wouldn't have gone to the appointment based on the other reviews. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was that the energy in the office felt hostile. It is not a welcoming environment. There is no music playing, not even white noise. I could hear other providers conversations with their patients because it was so weirdly quiet. There was another review that says it does not feel like a dr office, it feels like a fake one. That is accurate, in my opinion. It feels very off-putting. But, I am very open-minded and did not let these things scare me off. The next thing I noticed is that there are only one or two doctors in the whole office and I was scheduled to see a PA (which I wasn't expecting- I was told I'd be seeing an endocrinologist. But again, I was open and willing to continue with the appointment). The PA I saw was Jasmine Sharifan. Right off the bat, when I got to the room, things started to go downhill. Even though I filled in everything on the computer, she apparently didn't look at anything and I had to fill out paperwork there again. Which I guess is fine, just a minor inconvenience. But when she asked me why I was there, and I told her I wanted a second opinion, right away she was very unprofessional with me and snarky. She would say things like "so you already have an endocrinologist? Then why are you here?" And she just looked at me very judgy and rude. And "you say you're a runner, but you don't know what blocks are?" And "you have low blood sugar but you think you might have diabetes?" (I thought I might have type 1 because my symptoms were consistent with it and getting worse). She treated me like I was stupid, doubted everything I said, and acted like I was a liar. I couldn't even make it through the appointment without tearing up. I have never had a medical professional be so degrading and unpleasant to deal with. I thought about leaving mid-apppintment because I felt so uncomfortable. She did end up ordering labs for me which is a plus, but can be expected from any "doctor" in this situation. I was also told that I wouldn't be able to be seen to go over the results for 5 weeks which is hysterical, especially when my situation is urgent. I left the appointment in tears and cried the entire way home. I will never ever go back to this office again. They should not be in business. I will never recommend them to anyone. And based on their other reviews, they do not care about their patients and the responses from the owner are also unprofessional (see reviews for all locations). There is a chance that the other providers will not treat you this badly, but choose wisely if you do choose to still go that route. I hope that this honest review will save at least one person from dealing with the humiliation of what I experienced."
"My wife went to go to her appointment. Which she had a text the day before to verify it which she did. When she got there, they told her the doctor no longer works there. They never even tried to reschedule or help her in any way. She had to take a day off work just for this appointment. Her foot is hurting her very bad. And I'm highly disappointed in this company. Whoever runs this clinic. I hope you can fix this for people in the future. I work in the health care industry. I know problems a rise but I know our company always tries to make things right for the patient."
"I had a very positive experience. The Doctor was very knowledgeable and understanding. He put me at ease and made me feel hopeful. The office staff was very nice and helpful. This did happen to my arm when blood was drawn. Never had this happen before."
