"Dr Sharf is the best family practitioner I have ever had, and believe me I have had plenty. He takes the time to listen, and explain in detail what he is doing and thinking but yet In a timely manner. I couldn't ask for better care for my family and I. The receptionists and Techs are also top notch here."
"My family (my parents, my brother, and myself) have been seeing Dr. Frank Sharf since before 2012. He's extremely knowledgeable, and smart. When I saw him over a week ago, he seemed to have become more patient, and kind which means so much to me. He not only listened to my medical issues/concerns, but also personal matters. I'm grateful to have him as my physician for all of these years."
"My family and I have been seeing Dr. Sharf for over 10 years now. His bedside manner has never been great but he seemed knowledgeable and you could usually get in for an appointment relatively quickly. However over the last few years his bedside manner has gotten considerably worse. Today I just had the last appointment I will ever have with him. I had recently been seen in the instacare because my ankle and foot keeps swelling. They ruled out the scary stuff like a blood clot and kidney failure and told me to follow up with my primary care Dr to figure out why it's happening. So I made an appointment for today to do just that. He walks in and the first thing he does is ask me how it's affecting my life. I thought that was a weird question. I didn't know how to respond so I told him I am just following up to see what's causing it. He told me that all of the bloodwork was fine and there is nothing that can be done besides wearing a compression sock. He then asked me why I even care about it. He made me feel like I was stupid for even being there and was wasting his time. I am not a doctor so how am I supposed to know not to worry about it??? Most visits it seems like he thinks you're a hypochondriac for being concerned about anything. The last time I was there he left the door open after he was finished looking at my son. We overheard him talking to his staff about how he didn't feel good because some "dirt bag" patient got him sick. After today I was just so frustrated by his lack of empathy, so I asked him if he even cared about his patients. His response is that he cares that "he does his job right." Not sure exactly what he meant by that answer. I'm assuming that he meant that he cares about issues that he considers actually worrisome. I guess he thinks patients are supposed to know which issues aren't worth worrying about. I had other issues I wanted to have checked out too but he made it pretty clear to me that he doesn't care about me as a patient. So I told him I'll be finding a new doctor. I'll supposedly be getting my copay refunded within the next couple of weeks. I really like IHC but they should be extremely embarrassed to have him as a provider. Patients should not feel belittled, embarrassed or scared to talk to their doctor"
"I would like to know what the point is of having a doctor if you can't even get to see the doctor because the front desk over books your doctor and won't let you use a same day visit that your doctor reserves in cases you need to see him. I find it ridiculous you call to make an appointment oh he's booked up 3 weeks out for a simple medication review or hey I'm in severe back pain let's wait till Monday to see the doctor or go to another doctor instead of seeing my doctor that knows my problems. I would not recommend going to this clinic to see a doctor can't even get in to see your doctor not worth it. I just now had my Dr cancel me as a patient because I was shaming the receptionist's. Not once did I shame my Dr. He was the best Dr. I ever had. I had an appointment scheduled for June 12 and they changed it to July 10. The front desk kept telling me he was booked out for up to 6 weeks. Never in all the years have I been seeing him has he been booked that far out. So again it's the front desk making it difficult to see my Dr. I'm sorry he discharged me for telling the truth about the front desk. I will miss him dearly."
