"I’ve been conflicted about writing this review for quite awhile. There were a few things Ashley did help with, but overall she’s disorganized, argumentative, and generally unhelpful and lacks empathy. I originally reached out to her for EMDR and trauma healing associated with a sexual betrayal and abandonment from my ex wife. Ashley barely addressed this and made no effort to really at all. Instead she constantly tried to redirect me towards myself and my childhood, which is all well and good, but causes even more distress when the trauma is not healed. She even admitted she screwed up in this regard in the last session before I fired her. The result was a complete disaster for my work productivity and made me hate my mother as a side effect. I’m sure she does some things well, but betrayal trauma definitely isn’t it. So avoid if that’s you. As an aside, I also know a betrayed female who had the same frustrations when she dealt with similar trauma. So it’s not just me."
