"This month they've lost my asthma medication. According to their website, it was filled on March 21. Now, March 29, there is still no sign of my medication. I've been to the pharmacy multiple times asking for it, and have spent hours on the phone with every CVS phone number I can find or get transferred to trying to find it. All anyone can tell me is that it's in process or has been shipped. Where it was shipped from, which date it was shipped, when it's expected to arrive, none of these can be answered. They keep bringing up CVS central fill. But no one has a phone number or address for central fill. I've been told it's my job to find it, the pharmacy's job, even that it's my job to search for the medication at other pharmacies. What I haven't been told is how to get the prescription. It's been nearly a week without my main asthma medication."
"I am constantly surprised at how incompetent CVS pharmacy is. I have never experienced so many issues with a pharmacy as I have with CVS. The worst part is that I've never dealt with the same employee twice. Their turnover rate must be astronomical. Every time I call in, the employee helping me has only worked there a couple months. When I go in to pick up a prescription, all the employees look exhausted, overworked, and sad. I only used CVS for one year because I was forced to due to my insurance. I switched insurances as soon as I could and transferred my prescriptions ASAP. I wish my experience was unusual but all my coworkers say that CVS causes them more grief than it's worth. CVS obviously cares more about their bottom line than the people who work for them and the customers they supposedly "serve"."
"This pharmacy is a disaster. Had to switch to them for insurance reasons. Had ups and downs from the beginning but tried really hard to give them the benefit of the doubt. I get it I have worked in customer service for years. I get that you are very busy and understaffed. But I have almost always been greeted like I’m an inconvenience. Almost every time I went inside I have overheard an argument between a customer and employee where an employee was yelling. You picked this occupation you should learn how to handle upset customers. And after today I understand why people are always upset with you. Customer service is very very rude, it’s a hassle to get prescriptions refilled, very incompetent, definitely some technical issues, terrible attitudes. Will most likely switch pharmacies."
"The last few times I've gone, the store manager (who is usually the only employee working at the time) is standing right outside the front door vaping. And then he follows you inside, but then disappears in the aisle so you have to try and ring the customer service bell. It takes about 5 minutes of constant ringing for it to make an announcement. A few months ago I picked up a RX at the pharmacy, and the tech yelled up to the counter from the back "Is it the mood stabilizer and the heart medication?" while there were multiple people in line behind me. 2 stars because it's a convenient place to drop off Amazon returns."
"When this store first opened, I was very impressed and excited that I had a CVS pharmacy close to home. My employer prefers this pharmacy chain. I have recently made the decision to choose another pharmacy as I am continually frustrated with the service I receive from the employees of this store. I often receive notifications which are incorrect and tell me my Rx are ready for pickup only to find out they are not ready when I go to the store. Along with not receiving notifications when they ARE ready and having to go back to the store to check on them because the phone is NEVER answered. I have committed to NEVER go back to this store."
