"I'm trying to figure out how a person can gage someone's feelings and trauma by only asking questions. I went to see Dr. Kelly Guthrie for an evaluation through the VA. She asked questions, I gave answers in depth about how my PTSD is affecting my life, intimate relationships, and socializing. The response I received from her was I don't recommend an increase in your PTSD rating. While sharing my experiences with her I got very emotional and cried several times. I went there for a evaluation on a worsening condition that has been affecting my life, work, relationships. In my opinion her response was at the very least extremely unprofessional and biased. I would not recommend Dr. Kelly Guthrie to anyone with PTSD. Had I known beforehand that her specialty is sex Therapy and couples counseling, I would have requested a different doctor."
