"I have taken my animals to Kelly esplin for years. My 13 year old cat stopped urinating and he would fall down when he would walk. On Feb 18th late so called on presidents day they got him in, the vet said he had a blockage in his urethra and he wouldn't make it so I paid $500 for him to get a iv and catheter and stay there for 4 days. Finally on Feb 22 I was able to bring him home He passed away on Feb 24 early morning didn't even last 24 hours. If he knew my cat wouldn't make it I would have put him down instead he sent him home. Very disappointed this place has gone down hill..."
"Very friendly and helpful staff and vet. Got my dog spayed recently and they were able to address all the concerns (anxious pet parent) I had about the operation."
"My daughter dropped off my cat for immunizations, after a couple days I called the office and they said they didn't have my cat. When I went to the office they then said we can't give you any information or release the cat to you. I didn't know that when my daughter filled out the paperwork she put herself down as the owner. I went to the office twice in an effort to get my cat back and they were very rude. Next thing I know the police are telling me they will arrest me if I go back there. The office people didn't care that I could prove the cat was mine. They were fed misinformation from my daughter."
"I have taken my dogs to this vet for years, starting with Dr. Kelly Esplin and absolutely loved them. Recently I took my dog in to have her teeth cleaned and when I picked her up, the front desk girl told me they had to remove 11 teeth. When I asked what happened, she said she wasn't sure and apparently didn't want to be bothered to find out. I called and spoke to the vet who explained this was common for small dogs. When I asked him why no one had told me they were planning on doing it, he said, that he was the doctor and he figured he knew what he was doing and didn't need to ask my permission. He said they didn't charge for the teeth removal. I explained that I wasn't expecting him to ask my permission and I wasn't concerned about the cost, I just wanted someone to explain to me what was going on. It was a shock to have all of her front teeth pulled without understanding why. He responded that they should probably let future clients know. The level of compassion has definitely dropped since Dr. Esplin was there."
