"The young lady at the counter was welcoming and helpful. She could see I was struggling with items and kindly took them and opened a fitting room for me. She was very patient and helped me to find clothing. Will visit again."

"I typically order from Anne Taylor online - I'm a size 18 and can find the nicest work dresses here. I decided to go in store for the first time and immediately was stopped by a petite lady with long black hair when I walked in. Without even greeting me, she said we do not have your size. I was taken aback and replied that online you do. And she snubbed me, said not in store, and then ushered be back out the door. There were a lot of people staring at me and overheard her talking to me like this, which was humiliating. My large rear end couldn't fit in anything that was in store... however, I wear a 16 or xl on the top so I could have had the opportunity to at least grab a top. I am very embarrassed and upset as to how I was treated. If this is the type of staff Anne Taylor employs, I will not give them another cent."

"Maybe I'm just weird, but it feels like the quality of Ann Taylor clothing has really declined. Almost everything in the store was a plastic-feeling polyester. Anything remotely well-made they seemed to have limited stock. Also, I appreciate that they technically carry smaller sizes, but even a size 0 is similar to a UK size 10, which is not particularly small. Sizing on pants also seems very inconsistent. I probably won't be back here."
