"Spending the week in Utah for work, we've been having to dine out for most meals. We chose Ruth's Chris in Park City for something new. We'd never been, but with their reputation and being around for decades, we decided we would treat ourselves. Atmosphere and ambience was great. Service was impeccable. Food wasn't as great as I'd heard or was expecting. The best part of our meal was the spicy shrimp appetizer. The presentation of our entrees was beautiful, however, my NZ salmon was mushy, undercooked and NOT flaky. The portion size of the side I choose, the shoestring fries was hearty, but Freddy's shoestring fries are cheaper and better tasting. Overall, the food fell short of my expectations, but the rest of the experience was pleasant. For our money, we won't give Ruth's Chris a second chance."
"We celebrated our anniversary here. After we got home, I read that we should have received a free dessert for our special occasion. We bought a few desserts, and they didnt even tell us about the one we should have got. Maybe they could have credited one of ours, idk. The food was amazing. Best steak and Creme brulee I've ever had. Hubby's was pretty darn good, too. The waiter was very nice! All in all, it was a good experience."
"The food here is mostly amazing! I had a painkiller for a drink which was very good! My husband and I had the stuffed mushrooms to start with, they were delicious. The lobster bisque soup and Caesar salad are also very good! My husband had steak which he thought was great! We had mashed potatoes and shoe string fries. The potatoes were creamy and delicious and the fries were thin and crispy! I had the stuffed chicken which was okay, it wasn’t my favorite but it wasn’t bad. We also got the peanut butter pie to go and it was also very good! For all of this food, it was around $230 with a $50 tip so around $280 total. The food is great however, for the price, I’ve eaten food that was just as good at The Cheesecake Factory and it is much less expensive. The service here is amazing! Our waiter did turn on a heater right above us which got very hot so we kind of felt like we were sitting in a sauna but it was still nice overall! The plates come out extremely hot so be careful about that. We did notice a burn on one of the servers arm, it didn’t take away from our meal at all but I felt bad about it, I assumed it was maybe from the hot plates. The server did warn us about the hot plates though. The menu is also extremely small, for the price you pay to eat here I would expect a larger menu. The menu is mostly steak and then they have a chicken dish, a couple of fish dishes, and then sides. There isn’t a lot to choose from."
"I think my expectations were just too high. The food was pretty good. But the T-bone steak wasn’t as mouthwatering as I had hoped. For $70 I expected it to be perfect. I ordered it medium rare but it didn’t seem as pink as I was expecting. The service was great and the views spectacular. We sat outside and had a gorgeous view of the mountain and golf course. There is NO parking. Well, not nearly enough."
"The food was delicious. The service was exceptional. The ambiance is lovely. It was an incredible dining experience. Jeff greeted us and felt us so welcome and appreciated. Cooper kept our water glass filled and was delightful. They had rose petals on the table for our anniversary. It was such a nice touch. The food was just sublime. I got the petit filet and it was so tender and flavorful. It came on a 500 degree plate and was sizzling with butter. It was the star of the meal. The mashed potatoes were yummy and sweet potato casserole had great flavor and I loved crunch of the nut topping. The star of the sides was the asparagus. It was grilled and just so tender. It was perfectly complimented by the hollandaise sauce. For dessert we tried the lava cake. I was expecting a basic cake with some hot fudge inside. No this was thick, delectable chocolate cake covered in hot fudge and topped with ice cream. The flavors were rich and not overly sweet. We loved our experience at Ruth Chris and truly felt like we were treated like royalty."
