"There staff was phenomenal, so kind and fast! The food was delicious and they gave me fair portions. It was clean and organized even through a rush which still only took me about 12 minutes to pay. I could tell that McKeira was training but was apologizing to us for the wait and for training 10/10 would recommend."
"I love Costa. I spend hundreds on gift cards each year. I’ve been to most in Utah and think they’re delicious. The Provo Costa Vida has the stingiest staff I’ve ever seen. For a while, they would weigh your food and remove meat they already put in if the weight was too high. Almost 100% of the time I come here, I get about half the portion I would at the Bountiful or Heber or City Creek Costa. It’s ridiculous. And half the time the staff look semi-mad you’re there. And they are always trying to close before they actually close. Love Costa, but am not a fan of this location. I don’t know if this is because of different ownership or what, but please fix it. Edit: just happened again Edit: came again. Maddie was terrific and gave fair portions. However, they apparently are not doing water cups right now because “people abused them.” Seems ridiculous to me. Everyone restaurant in America deals with it and still gives them out."
"I recently visited this Costa Vida location and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The service was notably slow, which was quite frustrating, and the ambiance near the connected bowling alley was less than pleasant, contributing to an overall unpleasant atmosphere. One significant issue was the size of the food portions. I found them surprisingly tiny, leaving me feeling dissatisfied and questioning the value for money. When dining out, a reasonable portion size is essential, and unfortunately, Costa Vida fell short in this regard. Moreover, the connected bowling alley added an unpleasant aroma to the entire experience, impacting the overall enjoyment of the meal. This unexpected aspect further detracted from what should have been a pleasant dining experience. In summary, my visit to Costa Vida was marred by slow service, an unappealing atmosphere, inadequate food portions, and an unwelcome odor from the nearby bowling alley. The combination of these factors made for a disappointing and frustrating dining experience that, unfortunately, did not meet my expectations. Pictured below are the actual portions of my meal."
"This location is one of the worst I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately, it’s the closest one to my house, so I usually order from here out of convenience. However, the food is always sub par in comparison to other costa vida locations I have gone to. I have usually just chalked it up to incompetent staff, but I’ve had the same experience over and over for an extended period of time. The last two times I ordered from here were exceptionally awful. I ordered a sweet pork salad both times and found almost all of the lettuce in my salad to be brown and soggy. It was borderline rotten to the point where I couldn’t eat any of it. And on top of that the tortilla wasn’t even cooked. It was raw dough and inedible. This time I came home to find my salad had barely any food in it, some gross pieces of lettuce, and the tortilla I asked for on the side had been mistakenly put in my salad, taken out, and wrapped up like normal till I opened it up to see that there was a bunch of rice and lettuce stuck to the inside of it. I can’t believe the workers here can put food like this together and not use common sense to tell that it’s unacceptable. Worst location avoid this place if you can help it"
"I recently visited Costa Vida and had a mixed experience. The food was delicious, but the parking situation left much to be desired. The restaurant is located in a busy area and shares a parking lot with Fat Cats bowling, which makes finding a spot quite tricky. The parking situation was so bad that I almost considered turning around and leaving before even trying the food. Once I made it inside, though, I was pleased with the atmosphere and the friendly staff. The restaurant is connected to Fat Cats bowling, which adds to the overall vibe. The decor is vibrant and fun, and the team is happy to help you navigate the menu. Speaking of the menu, I highly recommend the burritos at Costa Vida. They are enormous and full of flavor. I also enjoyed the fresh salsa and guacamole that came with my meal. However, I do think that the prices are a bit steep for what you get. Overall, if you can handle the parking situation, I think that Costa Vida is worth a visit. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is fun, and the staff is friendly. Just be prepared to circle the parking lot a few times before finding a spot."
