"I’m a long-time Utah resident and very familiar with this brand. This visit wasn’t the best look for Cafe Rio. 6pm on a Saturday, no wait. Food ingredients on display while ordering appear dry, used up, scant. Ordering took a long time. Food tasted as expected. Garbage cans overflowing despite apparent glut of workers. Card readers that request gratuity."

"First time in Cafe Rio today. Stoped there for lunch. Nice people serving good food from fresh ingredients. We had the salad with shredded beef and got served good portions. We loved the salad dressing they give you on the side and really appreciated the fresh cilantro they top the salad with."

"The pick up process is not ideal here since you have to go to the garage or really find a not ideal parking spot nearby. The location itself is ideal as it is city center and given that it is a newer addition to the chain it’s a really nice location. I’d say this particular location is 75/25 when it comes to food to go. 75% of the time they provide me what I wanted when I do a pick up order. The other 25% is a gamble on it you’ll get the things you asked for or if they’ll miss removing the items you requested. Generally the food though is always consistently good and I must admit that their rewards system is top notch! … Especially when comparing any other local chains. Overall this patrullar Cafe Rio is one that if you’re really in the mood for it, go for it. Otherwise you’ll find a wide selection of eats within walking distance that may be just more worth eating."
