Fat Fish - Bountiful

"Nice to have an actual sushi restaurant in Bountiful. And it has a FULL BAR! Thank you, moral overseers:-) Nice staff. Busy on a Monday night. Kids allowed. We need to go back on another night and try more food offerings. The rolls we had were fine, but didn't knock my socks off. Maybe it was 'Monday fish'? Modern: you credit card pay at the table."

"We tried this place as a family tonight. The food was really good, my wife was not a fan of the steak, I tried it as well and it was not our style. But the rolls, the short rib bento and the fried rice were all top notch and were delicious. Our kids enjoyed the Shirley temples as well. I ordered a Thai iced tea, was a bit too strong for my liking. We would definitely come back, but it is pretty expensive for children as they do not have a kids menu."

"We have been there a few times and we keep coming back, because of the service and the atmosphere. The place isn't fancy, but it's a great place to sit and talk while eating. I love their tea. It comes in a traditional teapot and with the leaves. Ask for the chef's special, the waiters know each one of them and they don't disappoint. I like to order the volcano, because it's a show. It actually comes a plate of food with fire around it."

"I’m going to start out by saying I’m not huge into sushi. I wasn’t able to find anything I liked but this restaurant is very popular and I believe if you like sushi it’s a great place to eat. Their Vegas roll was pretty good. Eel sauce and spicy mayo were great additions. They also offer Bento boxes which are more up my alley. Overall an enjoyable experience and good place to eat with friends. Server was great. Very kind and helpful. Pork dumplings were fantastic"

"Fantastic atmosphere and the perfect place for a date or a night out. Fat Fish is a beautiful place to eat with fantastic menu options. Their food is beautifully plated. However, the sushi is a bit bland/average. Don’t get the Thai tea unless you love intensely sweet drinks."
