Reviews
"I rarely give out 1-star reviews, so you REALLY need to work on it to have me do this. The store itself is great, and I actually really like the cashiers that work there. My issue is with the Pharmacy. Between the worst customer service I've ever experienced: from multiple people there who couldn't care less about my situation to them giving nearly $700 in prescriptions of mine to someone else (I had just moved to town and am a large, white male - they claim a Hispanic women with my name picked it up for me) and 4 or 5 things in between I just gave up. I moved to CVS, deleted my account, and have zero intention of ever going back. I've been a loyal customer for 15 years, moved all over the US, and never had an issue with Walgreens. The pharmacist and his team at Pleasant Grove were enough to break that. I do not recommend this pharmacy. The Walmart down the road and the CVS in American Fork are much better places to get your meds."
"Be careful with this pharmacy. If your prescription isn't covered by your insurance, your prescription won't ever be filled unless you call in (despite what the automated message says). If you call to get it filled, they wont tell you that it's not covered by your insurance and you won't be told that they put it under good Rx unless you ask at check out. Make sure to clarify prices of medications before purchasing and make sure the prescription is covered through insurance. I had a prescription that was improperly called in by my physician as 3 a day instead of 2 but the quantity was still 60 so I thought it was a months supply. When I called in, I got a rough, short answer of "it's for 60, right? Come pick it up when you get the message." No warning that my insurance didn't cover it (which is why it was only filled when i called in) so when I checked out and a loud car went by - I trusted the total was the same as it always is. It was not. I'm now out $100 because even tho I ran in as soon as I got the medication and looked at the reciept, they couldn't return the medication due to state law."
"Really they should put two people at the drive-thru. They always help everyone at the window before they help people at the box, kind of annoying especially when you were there first. Use both the drive-thru lanes if you're going to have them there, stop skipping everyone because you're lazy!"
"I'm not one to usually leave a bad review however I think people should beware of buying gift cards at Walgreens. I go in there all the time to buy gift cards for clients. I gave a really good client a $500 gift card to Amazon. When he went to use it it did not work even though we had the activation receipt and code. When he called Walgreens they said it was a problem with Amazon and Amazon to him it was a Walgreen issue. The manager told me she couldn't help us. They said it looked like the card was returned even though there is a no return policy on gift cards. I am embarrassed to think that I have had other clients that this could have happened to and they never said anything. My client figured since it was such a large amount he needed to say something. Needless to say 2 months after buying the card and many calls, emails to Walgreens headquarters, and getting my bank involved (I paid for it with my debit card) I was finally issued an Amazon credit. They were beyond unhelpful and it should not have been that difficult to figure out the card didn't work and was not used. We had the original packaging and everything."
"Lady in the drive through talks rude to customers . Came in to get an antibiotic for my sick daughter. She told me to give about 20 min. With no one in drive through. I came back through drive through 17 min later she told me I hadn’t even given her half the time. What had happened to customer service skills and talking to people like they are human beings. What is the difference between sitting in the drive through and going back around or telling them okay I’ll stay here and wait for it. To going inside and waiting for it. They still give it to you quicker if you here waiting for it. Taking my prescriptions all to Maceys now. At least they’re more personable and kind."
