"If you're from Utah then you know that getting really good seafood can be a challenge. These guys are outstanding! I was so sad when my favorite place closed and thought I'd never have good fish and chips again. I kind of found this place by accident and I'm so glad I did! The fish is excellent and tastes fresh, perfectly cooked with flaky, tasty batter. You can even get the chips picadilly style instead of fries and they are the best I've had. The place is clean and the food served hot. Portions are generous, a great value for the price. The shop itself is adorable and a very comfy and welcoming atmosphere to sit and eat with the friendliest staff. If you love fish and chips there are none better to be had"
"Fish is the crispiest I have ever had. Decor is fun and very UK. My kids opted for the chicken instead of fish and the loved it. The small store give you tons of things to try for new to us candies and even a few frozen foods."
"We live is SLC and some new neighbors from England recommended this place. The fish and chips are delicious. Very crispy and they have the best tartar sauce! The chicken strips and clam chowder were delicious as well. We also ordered the curry sauce for dipping and some mushy peas. It was fun to show the kids some new foods, but I would go again for the fish and chips, chowder, and chicken strips."
"I'm English and have lived in Utah since 2005. Let's just say I am very critical of 'English' food this side of the pond and extremely fussy about authentic fish and chips. The cod and chips were superb!!! Crispy batter, freshly cooked and hot. And the chips (fries) were wonderful too. I have found none equivalent since living here. I seriously died and went to heaven. I also bought homemade scotch eggs and pork pies. If you havent tried them, and youre looking for proper English food. It is here, AND served by the English owner. Did I mention you can buy British bacon? Why try that I hear you ask? Because it is the meatiest, most flavorful bacon you will ever have here...not full of water and that disappears in the pan when cooked, I guarantee. I shall be back again...and again"
"We are from the Pacific Northwest so I have had really good seafood all my life. My ancestors are from England so I have had great English food as well. The clam chowder was not very flavorful. The fish and chips were okay. My kids usually love shepherd pie but they did not like theirs. The store and all the English memorabilia are awesome as are the staff."
